Anyway, seasonality again…..in H2, look where it bottoms…..that’s right, today. Am I guaranteeing that Monday bounces? Not at all. All this shows is what it has done on average over the past 10 years. That said, I’ll be buying the dip at close but will still hold some dry powder to buy more if need be. Might not exactly be Monday but I am expecting a bounce next week.

$F Not a huge fan of the double bottom chart pattern but just putting this out there for those that are. It’s nearing that level now for this year.

$F During this week's earnings call, I really want a narrower timeframe for the reveal and ordering of the Ford Fathom. Ford has already pushed the date(s) from late this year to early next year. How about giving us the date or at least the month? If Ford leadership was smart, they would have the reveal a couple days ahead the of the big Detroit Auto show media day which is January 14th. If they were to wait, it would be a huge, missed opportunity or signal a potential delay in production and deliveries in 2027. Ford needs to put that speculation to rest.

$F had lots of calls that were cashed in for a profit while at ~$12.75. Re-entering those calls now for next week. Hope it doesn't reverse down. Tech is getting TRASHED right now, so hopefully $$ flows back here.

$F Weak U.S. sales. A sharp EV sales drop. F-150 production disruption. That's a lot for one earnings report to explain. How much is temporary supply trouble, and how much is underlying demand weakness?

$F market cap: ~$48B $STLA market cap: ~$13B Ford is valued at almost 4x Stellantis. Yet Stellantis has 14 brands, global scale, Europe shipments up 10% in Q3, valuable Leapmotor exposure and around €10B in industrial net cash. The market is pricing $STLA for permanent failure. Even a mediocre turnaround could trigger a massive rerating. 🚀

$F I think the beatdown is just about over. September USA sales were up YOY and that was without discontinued lower margin and money losing vehicles. In other words, the mix was very good with higher margin vehicles and especially trucks. So, despite the overall quarterly decline, an EPS beat is still possible. Farley also stated October will be the highest F150 production month of the year. Inventories are still below where Ford wants them to be. So increasing production remains a priority. The big event that will move the stock is the UEV Fathom reveal. Ford originally stated the reveal would be late this year but has since postponed that to early 2027. Ford is expected to reveal and accept customer orders at the same time. The question is when do buyers step in? I would expect a more defined timeline for the reveal during Q3 earnings call. I could definitely see this tracking your seasonality chart through the end of this year.
