My sense is $NVO ( and may be $PFE ) primary interest in $MTSR preclinical oral dual peptide  agonist ( GLP1 GIP ).   
Metsera didn’t disclose any data except mentioned they have it and  novo sees
the lackluster performance of $LLY orforglipron in Attain1 ( will be primarily a diabetes but not obesity drug ) and wants to grab this opportunity 
Novo is excited to launch oral sema but it will not be competitive long term with $VKTX oral 2735.   And novo knows that well.. they probably could not meet BL “ crazy demands “  …. someone will sooner or later. 

Novo established massive peptide capacity ( &gt; 110 tons annually ) and a successful oral peptide could help them. 

They are sticking in this game long term.
