Discovery Inc and Las Vegas Sands both sank over 5% as the list’s weakest stocks.
Three new freshmen made the list. The companies are Mosaic Co, Chevron Corp, and Williams Companies Inc.
The Stocktwits Top 25 S&P 500 Momentum Meter increased 1.07% and the S&P 500 rose 0.81%. The 0.26% difference indicates that the overall index underperformed the top stocks by a little margin.

3 new names appeared on the list. The stocks include Palo Alto Networks, Fiserv, and Comcast Corp.
The ST Top 25 Nasdaq 100 Momentum Meter accelerated 1.69% while the full Nasdaq 100 rallied 1.28%. The 0.41% difference demonstrates that the best-performing equities continue to outperform the index overall.

19 of 25 stocks registered gains.

The ST Top 25 R2K Momentum Meter rampaged 8.11% and the Russell 2000 index gained 1.52%. The top stocks beat the index by 6.59%, showing that the index is losing steam as a whole.

The ST Top 25 Top Dawg for Week 8, 2022 is #5 R2K – Lantheus Holdings.
Lantheus Holdings climbed up the rankings of the ST Top 25 R2K List into the fifth spot as a freshman. $LNTH was the strongest stock of the week, leaping 61.63% to all-time highs.
The medical-technology soared 39.12% on Thursday after demolishing fourth-quarter earnings and sales estimates. Revenue grew 37.6% YoY and the FDA approved Lantheus’ on-site manufacturing facility for DEFINITY.

△ #10 N100 – Palo Alto Networks ascended 18.16% in Week 8 and entered the ST Top 25 R2K List as a freshman. $PANW is now ranked 10th.
The cybersecurity company kicked it into gear following its second-quarter earnings report. $PANW beat on the top and bottom line while raising its financial projections for the year. Revenue grew 30% YoY.

△ #9 S&P 500 – Mosaic Co made quite the statement on the ST Top 25 S&P 500 List during the eighth week. The crop nutrient company took the ninth spot as a freshman.
$MOS turned green for the week after its fourth-quarter earnings report on Tuesday. EBITDA grew to a record high and is expected to continue in 2022.

△ #3 R2K – Riley Exploration added onto its impressive 2022 campaign by expanding 24.07% and closing at eight-month highs. The freshman is ranked third on the ST Top 25 R2K List.
$REPX blasted out of the gates with an 18.04% gain on Tuesday and followed it up with gains of 12.5% on Wednesday and 6.58% on Friday.

The Sinners 📉
△ #23 N100- Booking Holdings had a week straight from hell. The travel company collapsed 12.0% in Week 8 and gave up its top spot on the ST Top 25 N100 List.
$BKNG dove 7.08% on Thursday despite reporting greater than anticipated earnings and sales. Gross travel bookings increased by 160% to $19 billion from the previous quarter.

▼ #4 R2K – Karyopharm Therapeutics was last week’s biggest gainer, this week it’s the largest loser. The therapeutic company plummeted 27.05% and pulled away from 52-week highs.
$KPTI dropped 28.44% on Tuesday after changes to the clinical leadership team were announced. Jatin Shah, the company’s Executive Vice President, and Chief Medical Officer stepped down.
Patricia Judson, M.D., was appointed as Senior Vice President of Medical Strategy and Stuart Poulton as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Portfolio Management. Good luck, team.
