In this summary there is no mention of around $180M earnings attributed to appreciation in Root warrants. If you remove it, you know how much they really made in selling cars.

The ROOT "income" is not real nor accurate. The short term warrants expire in sept 2025 and are near worthless if ROOT is less than 190. I feel confident that CVNA valued the warrants at the ROOT high of 177, today after good earnings ROOT trades at 144 per share. Basically 158 million of the 373 million is speculation at best. Furthermore, when the number of shares sold into the market for cash flow (shows up as income) is known this should be removed as well. In September PIK ends completely. I shall wait for those Q3 earnings prior to making many wagers. The stock sales are very good for the balance sheet, just like they saved GME. The stock sales and ROOT warrant MtM income will not last forever.
