With the Fed hiking rates for the first time since 2023, the 10-year Treasury yield near 5%, and oil prices swinging on the U.S.-Iran conflict, what's the biggest risk to your portfolio right now?

U.S. investors are navigating a stacked macro backdrop, with the Federal Reserve hiking rates for the first time since July 2023, the 10-year Treasury yield hitting 5.00% - its highest level since 2007 - and oil prices swinging between $94 and $105 a barrel amid the ongoing U.S.-Iran conflict and Saudi pipeline disruptions. What's the biggest risk to your portfolio right now? Vote and explain your reasoning in the comments.

Trump has dementia and is an extreme narcissist with no checks on his power. He said this past weekend several times he was going to wipe Iran out. IMO to do this, he’ll have to use a nuke. If he used a nuke, China and Russia would retaliate and possibly hit the U.S. It also appears we may be on the edge of WWIII in Europe, as Russia is threatening France and Poland. If the US gets hit with a nuke or involved in a world war, our portfolios are pretty meaningless. The smartest thing to do is hoard gold, silver and food!
