The company has raised its hyperscaler revenue forecast to $9 billion, and Robbins added that it must bring in an additional $3.7 billion in revenue in the fourth quarter (Q4).“It feels like there is a bit of a networking supercycle we’re entering right now. I remember sitting in a board room… seven or eight years ago, when someone said, ‘Are we sure companies are going to continue to buy Ethernet switchboards?’ I think we’ve proven that that’s definitely the case,” Robbins said.He credited the company’s presence in the hyperscaler segment today to its 2016 acquisition of Leaba Semiconductor.Cisco acquired Israeli fabless chip startup Leaba for $320 million, even though the latter had not even taped out its first chip.“We design our own silicon. And what hyperscalers want is… they want silicon diversity. They want multiple sources, and this has always been true in the telecom space forever,” he added.<h2 class="st-heading-2">CSCO CEO Defends Layoffs</h2>Robbins defended the company’s decision to lay off about 5% of its workforce, impacting around 4,000 employees. He said Cisco needs more funding for its silicon, optics, AI, and security segments.“Given the speed at which the market is moving, we need to make a rapid reallocation of resources. It raised its revenue guidance to $62.8 billion to $63 billion from $61.2 billion to $61.7 billion, while the consensus stood at $61.6 billion.<h2 class="st-heading-2">CSCO’s FY26 Guidance Turns Wall Street Bullish</h2>According to TheFly, Rosenblatt raised its price target on Cisco to $150 from $100 while maintaining a ‘Buy’ rating after strong networking growth and stabilizing security trends in the third quarter.The firm said Cisco still has multiple levers to protect operating margins above 34%, despite potential pressure from hyperscale demand and higher input costs.KeyBanc raised its price target on Cisco to $125 from $87 and maintained an ‘Overweight’ rating. Analysts said they believe some customers might have redirected orders to Dell in&nbsp;the&nbsp;weeks following the allegations.<h2 class="st-heading-2">UBS’ View On DELL</h2>DELL’s rally appears heated with the upside from business momentum and other factors already priced, UBS indicated. “Accelerating AI server demand [is] largely priced in,” analyst David Vogt said Sunday in a note to clients. “The risk/reward going forward is more balanced following strong execution over the past 12 months.”UBS said investors are pricing in earnings-per-share growth of at least 30% to 35%, which is significantly higher than both UBS’ projections and Dell’s own long-term expectation of midteens growth.In other words, while Dell might well revise its guidance higher in the next few quarters, these revisions are “likely already expected,” Vogt argued. Still, UBS bumped its price target on the stock to $243, up from $167, although the new target is still 1.6% lower from the stock’s last close.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Retail View On DELL</h2>On Stocktwits, the retail sentiment for DELL turned ‘extremely bullish’ on Monday, up from ‘bullish’ last Friday,&nbsp;“Dell should still have plenty of upside moving forward... with a market cap still below $200B, and its data center business is still, relatively, under the radar,”&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/SCNC/message/652913717">said</a> a trader.
