Apollo&#39;s report was solid this morning (no position), esp what the CEO has had to say on software companies. In short, he says the quality names are going to be just fine but many of the lesser names deserve to be shoved down.  They did a big cleanup of their software exposures last summer.

I am long 7k of KKR so far and will likely get back to large near term.  This stock has dropped almost 30% out of fear they will get hammered on Ai taking out much of the software sector&#39;s market cap... sigh.  Seems many PMs, &quot;analysts&quot; and talking heads do not understand that the premier software companies are the source code for Ai Coding LLMs.   smh 
 
As for KKR, they disclosed late last week that their total software names included in AUM (not their bal sheet, most in investor-owned funds) is only  7%.  Using UBS team&#39;s  est. loss of 17% on defaulting software debt, if all 7% default, then .07 x .13 = 0.91% of principal as the derived loss. Goofy vs 30% mkt cap!
