$INKT OceanBeach...here is what AI says when comparing INKT's Agent 797 with RIGL's drug

The Crucial Differences in Their Likelihood of Success

1. Definitive Failure vs. Active Development

• Fostamatinib: While it had theoretical backing early in the pandemic, its high-level failure in a 400-patient Phase 3 trial published in JAMA Network Open has minimized the likelihood of it ever becoming an approved or recommended ARDS treatment.

• agenT-797: Developed by MiNK Therapeutics (NASDAQ: INKT), this therapy is on an upward trajectory. Following successful exploratory trials published in Nature Communications, MiNK launched a randomized Phase 2 trial (Trial NCT07615010) evaluating the drug across severe pneumonia-induced ARDS.

@enkemm You have purposely left out material information from the JAMA study in your comparison of the two drugs. You mention ‘pandemic’ but failed to disclose that the Fostamatinib trial was for COVID-19 related ARDS. Both Agent-797 & now Fostamatinib will be tested using the Global definition of ARDS - which is completely different.

In addition, you should note that Rigel received a $750.0K grant from BARDA in ‘23 to further study Fostamatinib as a therapeutic for broader ARDS. We do not know the results of BARDA’s findings and can only surmise that they were promising if Rigel is pushing forward

Please note, AI is only as good as the input criteria
