Cardano is a blockchain platform built on academic research that enables smart contracts and decentralized applications while using significantly less energy than traditional cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. What sets Cardano apart is its methodical, research-driven approach — every major feature is peer-reviewed by scientists and cryptographers before being added to the network. This careful process aims to create a more secure and stable foundation compared to platforms that prioritize speed over thorough testing. The platform's native cryptocurrency, ADA, is used to send money, pay transaction fees, and participate in network governance. Cardano uses a proof-of-stake system to process transactions, which works differently from Bitcoin's mining approach. Instead of competing to solve complex puzzles, users can "stake" their ADA — essentially locking it up temporarily — to become validators who verify transactions. The system selects validators based on how much ADA they've staked and for how long, then rewards them with additional ADA for their participation. This approach uses far less energy than traditional mining while keeping the network secure. The platform also features a two-layer design that separates basic payment transactions from smart contract operations, allowing each function to be optimized independently for better performance. ADA holders can earn staking rewards by locking up their tokens to help secure the network, vote on proposed changes to the platform, and use ADA for international money transfers with lower fees than traditional services. Cardano was founded in 2017 by Charles Hoskinson, who previously helped create Ethereum. Hoskinson leads Input Output Global (IOG), the technology company that builds and maintains Cardano's core software. The ecosystem operates through three organizations: IOG handles technical development, the Cardano Foundation promotes adoption and standardization, and Emurgo helps businesses integrate blockchain technology into their operations. This structure distributes responsibilities across multiple groups rather than concentrating control in a single entity. In February 2025, major asset manager Grayscale Investments filed to create an exchange-traded fund (ETF) for Cardano with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, which would allow traditional investors to buy ADA through their regular brokerage accounts without needing to set up cryptocurrency wallets.

ADAs sharp rebound and attempted technical breakout are driving bullish chatter, with traders citing the Mastercard partnership and golden-cross signals as possible support. Some see a broader altcoin move or short squeeze, while skeptics warn that past rallies have faded and question whether the partnership will translate into real adoption.

Paramount Skydance Corp. - Ordinary Shares - Class B

Paramount Skydances Warner Bros. Discovery acquisition and the resulting transition to the combined company are driving attention, especially the warrant distribution and listing change. Traders debate the warrants and potential streaming synergies against concerns about heavy debt, borrowing costs, and dilution, with the stocks weakness sharpening that disagreement.

Western Digital Corp. engages in the development, manufacture, marketing, and sale of data storage devices and solutions. It operates through the Hard Disk Drives (HDD) segment. The company was founded by Alvin B. Phillips in 1970 and is headquartered in San Jose, CA.

Western Digital Corp.

Western Digital sold off after reports that Toshiba plans to expand hard-drive capacity for AI data centers, raising concerns that future competition could weaken WDCs supply-constrained pricing power. Many traders view the reaction as overdone because the expansion will take time and storage demand remains strong, while others warn that added supply could pressure the business over the longer term.

Stellar is an open-source, decentralized network co-founded in 2014 by Jed McCaleb and Joyce Kim to facilitate the fast and low-cost transfer of value across different currencies and assets globally. Managed by the non-profit Stellar Development Foundation, the project serves as a global infrastructure that connects banks, payment systems, and individuals to expand financial access to underserved populations. Its main value proposition lies in providing a bridge between traditional money and digital networks through the use of Anchors, which are trusted entities that hold deposits and issue credits on the ledger. The network operates using the Stellar Consensus Protocol and a Federated Byzantine Agreement, where nodes choose trusted sets of other nodes to agree on the state of the ledger. This system ensures high throughput and fast finality, where transactions are considered permanent and irreversible within seconds. Key features include a built-in distributed exchange for trading assets without intermediaries and the Soroban platform for developing smart contracts. Users can also utilize the network for tokenizing real-world assets or accessing decentralized finance services like peer-to-peer lending. Stellar's native token, XLM, is essential for maintaining network integrity by acting as an intermediary to find efficient exchange paths and preventing spam through small transaction fees and minimum account balance requirements. Unlike many other digital assets, the network has no inflation because the community voted to disable the automatic creation of new tokens. While the project received early funding from the payments company Stripe, it is now sustained by a global community of validators and developers rather than traditional venture capital.

Stellar Lumens

Traders are focusing on Stellars tokenization and institutional-adoption story, particularly its announced DTCC connection and reported growth in tokenized real-world assets, as a bullish thesis for XLM. That optimism is tempered by frustration that rallies keep meeting selling pressure around the low-to-mid 20-cent range and failing to hold gains.

Applovin Corp - Ordinary Shares - Class A

Applovin Corp

AppLovins steep decline to fresh lows is being tied to a courts denial of temporary relief in its dispute with Unity over Unitys Ad Quality SDK, alongside analyst concerns about growth and competition. Traders disagree over whether those risks justify the selloff: some fear pressure on AppLovins ad platform, while others view the decline as overdone given the companys profitability.
