Aditya Birla Capital | The stock has seen a decisive breakout above multiple resistance zones around ₹250, backed by a strong bullish candle. The stock also continues to form higher highs, and higher lows. The breakout is also backed by a notable surge in volumes. The quarterly MACD remains firmly above the zero line, signaling sustained positive momentum. As a result, Axis Direct indicates an upside towards levels between ₹340 - ₹375, an upside of up to 44% from current levels. ₹270 - ₹250 is suggested to be the buy range, with ₹240 - ₹222 being the support zone.

Jomei Investments is likely to sell up to a 2% stake in Aditya Birla Capital Ltd (ABCL) through block deals, according to sources. The investor plans to offload around 53.2 million shares at a floor price of ₹304.55 per share.


Jomei Investments is a special purpose vehicle owned by Advent International Corporation, while ABCL is the holding company of the financial services businesses of the Aditya Birla Group.

First Quarter Results

Aditya Birla Capital's consolidated net profit rose 10% year-on-year to ₹835 crore, while revenue grew 9.6% to ₹9,502.6 crore. The total lending portfolio stood at ₹1.66 lakh crore, marking a 30% YoY and 5% sequential rise.


The mutual fund average AUM reached ₹4.03 lakh crore, up 14% YoY, while the life insurance individual first-year premium grew 23% YoY to ₹795 crore. Gross written premium for health insurance jumped 30% YoY to ₹1,357 crore.

The NBFC arm reported disbursements of ₹15,851 crore, up 18% YoY. AUM grew 22% YoY to ₹1.31 lakh crore. Profit before tax rose 11% YoY to ₹925 crore, with return on assets at 2.25%. Asset quality improved, with gross stage 2 and 3 ratios down 75 bps YoY to 3.7%.
