Anthropic Files Paperwork With SEC For Wall Street Debut

Anthropic filed for its initial public offering (IPO) on Monday, racing with its rival, OpenAI, to debut on Wall Street amid the rising relevance of artificial intelligence. 

“The number of shares to be offered and the price have not yet been set,” the company said in a statement on Monday. 

Anthropic PBC confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-1 to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering of common stock. “The proposed initial public offering will depend on market conditions and other factors,” Anthropic said in its statement.
