Indian liquor maker Globus Spirits Ltd on Monday announced the launch of TERAI India Craft Vodka, which it says is the world’s first premium vodka filtered using amethyst crystals, as it looks to strengthen its premium spirits portfolio.

The handmade vodka is produced at the company’s TERAI distillery in Behror, Rajasthan, using locally sourced rice and bespoke production methods. The spirit is uniquely finished by filtering through amethyst crystals to deliver what the company describes as a “smooth and playful” drinking experience.

“With TERAI India Craft Vodka, we are taking a bold step in our premiumization journey,” said Shekhar Swarup, joint managing director of Globus Spirits. “We are confident it will resonate with discerning urban consumers who seek authenticity, craftsmanship, and distinction in their spirits.”

The vodka has debuted in Jaipur and Udaipur at ₹2,245 for a 750 ml bottle and will soon roll out in Delhi, Gurgaon, Goa, and Mumbai across leading retail outlets and premium channels.

The launch comes as Globus Spirits, which has been in India’s alcohol-beverage industry for over three decades, continues to expand its premium offering after the success of its TERAI craft gin. The company operates fully integrated distilleries across five states and has been focusing on introducing high-quality, differentiated products to cater to India’s evolving consumer preferences.
