The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced a collaboration with Salesforce Inc. (CRM) on Monday under its OneGov strategy to deliver cost savings.

Through the partnership, federal agencies will gain access to Slack Enterprise Grid and Slack AI for Enterprise at considerably reduced rates.

Federal agencies can access Slack Enterprise Grid at a limited-time 90% discount and close to 70% savings per user for Slack AI for Enterprise, valid through Nov. 30, 2025.

This streamlined pricing replaces the prior system of scattered agency-specific discounts, opting for a volume-based model across the entire government.

GSA noted that this move supports a larger mission to update the federal IT acquisition process and improve access to key digital tools.

“The private sector is experiencing firsthand through the OneGov initiative that President Trump’s GSA is committed to being a good partner as we work together to deliver the best tools for the government at the best value for taxpayers,” said GSA Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum.

“These deals are a harbinger for the next phase, which is already underway, of longer-term commitments from industry at discounted pricing in the new fiscal year and beyond.”

The OneGov strategy aims to transform federal procurement by consolidating purchasing power and standardizing terms across agencies, thereby enhancing efficiency and security in government IT operations.

Salesforce’s collaboration with GSA is part of a broader trend of technology companies engaging with the federal government to provide cost-effective solutions.

The company enables businesses to transform operations with AI by integrating Agentforce, a digital labor tool, with its core platforms to unify human and AI efforts for improved customer outcomes.
