  • The partnership will improve manufacturing capacity at the company’s Valdosta facility.
  • Access to HADDY’s microfactory network will allow Blu Ops to expand or shift its production based on operational needs and support the customer globally.
  • The deal comes days after Red Cat received an order for Black Widow Drones from NATO.

Shares of advanced drone and robotic solutions provider Red Cat Holdings Inc. (RCAT) drew investor attention on Monday after the company secured a partnership with HADDY to bolster its production of Unmanned Surface Vessels.

This partnership will equip the company to produce advanced Agentic AI-powered robotic systems. This new production line will be set up at the company’s Valdosta facility.

Blu Ops Production Capabilities

The company said its partnership with HADDY will enable it to produce Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), including two variants at 5 meters and 7 meters, effectively doubling its manufacturing capacity.

“This partnership advances our ability to iterate at the speed of modern conflict,” said Barry Hinckley, President of Blue Ops.

Access to HADDY’s microfactory network will allow Blu Ops to expand or shift its production based on operational needs and support the customer globally. The company will be able to take its production line closer to where it is needed, reduce logistical costs, and support faster delivery times.

Black Widow Drone Order

On April 2, Red Cat won an order to deliver a drone package system, which includes two Black Widow drones, a ground control station (GCS), and essential mission-support components. The drone system is designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. The contract was finalized through a competitive tender facilitated by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), with deliveries planned throughout 2026.

Red Cat, which supplies drone platforms and software solutions for military applications, is viewed as a potential beneficiary of the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance Program (DDP). The program is expected to focus on strengthening the United States’ ability to deploy advanced unmanned systems in future conflicts.
