Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), through its subsidiary Reliance Intelligence Limited, has partnered with Google to offer young Jio users free access to Google’s premium Gemini Pro plan—valued at ₹35,100—for 18 months.

The initiative, launching on October 30, provides early access to Jio subscribers aged 18-25 who are on eligible unlimited 5G plans. It marks the latest phase in Jio’s “AI for All” vision, aimed at democratising artificial intelligence across India.

Under the plan, users gain higher access to Google’s Gemini 2.5 Pro model, 2 TB cloud storage, video generation via Veo 3.1, image creation using Nano Banana, and enhanced tools like NotebookLM, Gemini Code Assist, and Gemini in Gmail and Docs. Activation is available through the MyJio app under a “Claim Now” banner.

Existing Gemini Pro subscribers will be able to switch seamlessly to the free ‘Google AI Pro – Powered by Jio’ plan upon expiry of their current paid subscriptions.

The collaboration also extends to enterprise users: Reliance Intelligence will serve as a strategic partner for Google Cloud to broaden access to AI hardware accelerators (TPUs) and drive adoption of Gemini Enterprise, Google’s next-generation agentic AI platform for businesses.
