zSpace, Inc., Ridgetech, Inc., and Jet.AI, Inc. each touched fresh 52-week lows on Monday, dragged down by catalysts ranging from earnings misses, extreme volatility and reverse stock splits.
Shares of zSpace, an education-focused AR-VR maker, plunged 12.4% on Tuesday, continuing its sharp slide following its quarterly results and a weak outlook.
The company reported fourth-quarter and full-year performance on March 30. Revenue fell 47%% to $4.8 million for the quarter and declined 27% to $38.1 million for the full year 2025, primarily driven by a freeze in both orders and shipments during the U.S. Federal Government shutdown late last year. Net loss in the quarter was $7.3 million compared to $3.6 million last year.
In December, zSpace completed a strategic restructuring initiative, reducing operating expenses by more than 30%. More recently, it raised $3 million in a strategic investment from Planet One Education and another $4.3 million senior secured convertible notes.
In an investor note earlier this week, Roth Capital said the company had a challenging 2025 but 2026 year-to-date developments, such as new funding and cost reductions, present a more balanced outlook. The research firm, however, lowered its stock target to $0.50 from $3 while keeping a ‘Buy’ rating.
Meanwhile, Ridgetech shares plunged 96% last Tuesday, erasing most of the gains from the prior three sessions. No clear catalyst emerged for the move, although low-float penny stocks like RDGT are often prone to such sharp volatility.
Ridgetech, formerly known as China Jo-Jo Drugstores, is a China-based pharmaceutical distributor and retailer that operates drugstores, an online pharmacy, and a wholesale business. In December, the company unveiled a “dual-engine” growth strategy focused on wholesale distribution and digital expansion, a move that signals a broader restructuring. On Friday, Ridgetech announced a 1-for-150 split to maintain listing compliance that will take effect on Tuesday.
Jet.AI shares plummeted nearly 50% on Monday, their worst single-day performance on record, after the company announced a 1-for-200 reverse stock split. The amalgamation, set to be implemented on Wednesday, is meant to regain compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price requirement.
Meanwhile, investor interest remains elevated as the company pivots from aviation operations to an AI-driven platform and data center operator. Jet.AI is selling its charter business to private jet operator flyExclusive—a deal that has faced delays—while also advancing construction of a major data center in Canada.
The transaction, announced in February 2025 and initially slated to close in the second quarter of that year, has been delayed multiple times due to prolonged SEC review and financing conditions, with the latest deadline now set for April 30, 2026.
Amid these setbacks, the company has also faced potential takeover interest, prompting it to adopt a limited-duration shareholder rights plan in February to guard against opportunistic stake-building.
All three stocks have significantly underperformed the S&P 500 over the past year.
Despite the weakness, retail sentiment on Stocktwits for zSpace had jumped to ‘extremely bullish’ from ‘bearish’ at the start of the week. The watcher count for the ticker has increased 12% in the past 30 days and by over 560% over the past year.
The Stocktwits sentiment for Ridgetech remained neutral, while that for Jet.AI dropped to ‘extremely bearish’ from ‘bearish’ the previous day.
Watcher count for RDGT increased 419% over the past 30 days and 3,783% over the past year. For JTAI, the metric increased marginally over the past week and by 17.2% over the past year.
