Do you believe China on paper is shedding US Treasuries and hiding behind The Cayman Islands Shield?
I don’t.
I believe China is taking every dollar from the sell of Treasuries and buying gold, silver and platinum.
Don’t forget uranium. They’re stock piling every mineral they possibly can.
They don’t want the USD. They want real money.

There’s a huge amount of leverage on US Treasuries being held by hedge funds based in The Caymans.

It seems to be that I could be wrong. China could be holding a lot of the treasuries they’ve been selling in The Caymans.
So many things we will never know.

On paper it shows that they’re selling, but they could simply be buying them back with high yield on the other side as they drive yields higher.
