According to a Bloomberg report, the New Jersey-based company has discussed the option with potential advisers.

Hertz Expands Program Allowing Prolonged 3-Day Test Drives Before Vehicle Purchase To Over 100 Cities

Consumers can test the vehicles for up to three days before purchasing at a low daily rate.

(SDGR) announced on Thursday that it is discontinuing the clinical development program for SGR-2921, which was being evaluated in an early-stage study in patients with relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia or high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes.The decision was made in light of two treatment-related deaths in the early-stage study, the company said. <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/SDGR">Schrödinger</a> opined that developing the drug as a combination therapy would be difficult to pursue in light of the two deaths despite evidence of activity as a monotherapy.Margaret Dugan, chief medical officer at Schrödinger, <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://ir.schrodinger.com/press-releases/news-details/2025/Schrdinger-Announces-Discontinuation-of-SGR-2921-Program/default.aspx">said</a>, “Patient safety is our first priority, and in light of two treatment-related deaths in the Phase 1 dose-escalation study, we have made the decision to discontinue further development of SGR-2921. The early-stage study was also supported by preclinical data, which suggested that SGR-2921 could ultimately be used in combination with standard-of-care agents, the company said.SGR-2921 is a CDC7 inhibitor, meaning it is a drug that blocks the activity of the CDC7 kinase, a protein involved in DNA replication and cell cycle progression. (RVTY) CEO Prahlad Singh acknowledged challenges to the company’s immunodiagnostics business in China, owing to changes in regulations, and warned of a pullback during the firm’s earnings call on Monday.The CEO stated that the company began experiencing challenges in its diagnostics business midway through the second quarter, due to a revised lab reimbursement policy tied to Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRGs), which affected the size of diagnostic panels ordered by physicians in the country.Healthcare providers are opting for fewer multiplex diagnostic products, the CEO said, while noting that this trend is likely to drive volume for single-plex tests.“For the remainder of the year, we are now expecting a fairly meaningful pullback in our immunodiagnostics business in China, which is incorporated into our updated outlook for the total company for the year,” Singh said. (BAX) fell over 2% on Monday morning after the medtech company announced that it has appointed Andrew Hider as president and chief executive officer.Hider will take up his responsibilities no later than Sept. 3 or at an earlier date after completing his current commitments at ATS Corporation (ATS), the company said. Hider has been serving as CEO of ATS, who providers automation solutions for companies including in the life sciences, food and beverage, and consumer products industries, since 2017.Prior to joining ATS, Hider served as president and CEO of the Taylor Made Group, LLC, and served in several leaderships roles at life sciences and diagnostics company Danaher Corporation.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/BAX">Baxter</a> has been without a permanent CEO since February when José E Almeida retired from his executive roles, including that of the CEO.
