While the Starwood joint venture addresses the large-scale, hyperscale end of the AI infrastructure market, Exaion addresses a different but complementary segment, which is sovereign, enterprise, and private cloud AI compute.&nbsp;Despite the financial headwinds, MARA Chairman and CEO Fred Thiel characterized the period as a "redefining quarter". The company is aggressively moving beyond its roots as a pure-play bitcoin miner to become a leader in digital infrastructure, specifically targeting high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads.&nbsp;“We believe the next phase of digital infrastructure value creation will be shaped by control of power," Thiel said in a letter to shareholders, noting that AI adoption is currently outstripping the available power supply.&nbsp;MARA announced the acquisition of Long Ridge Energy &amp; Power, which includes a 505 MW power plant and 1,600 acres of land for a premier data center campus in its effort to make the shift to AI data centers.&nbsp;“Power is the most important input, and we want to deploy it across the highest-value applications. PINS Stock Jumps On Robust Advertiser Spending, Strong Q2 Guidance

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Q1 revenue jumped by 85%, the company’s fastest growth on record.&nbsp;</li><li>Earnings of $0.34 per share beat expectations of $0.28.</li><li>Sees 2026 revenue soar by 120%.</li></ul>Palantir (PLTR) stock fell after-hours, reversing early gains as the company’s bloated valuations overshadowed its first strong quarter earnings, while its forecast-beating second quarter and full-year guidance limited further dip in prices.&nbsp;Its revenue for the quarter jumped 85%, the highest-ever year-over-year growth rate in any quarter, owing to massive U.S. government contract wins and a surge in revenue from commercial contracts.&nbsp;PLTR’s revenue from the U.S. government grew 84% year-over-year and 21% quarter-over-quarter to $687 million, and its commercial revenue grew 133% year-over-year and 18% quarter-over-quarter to $595 million.&nbsp;Net income roughly quadrupled to $870.5 million, or $0.34 per share, from a year earlier, beating expectations of $0.28 per share.&nbsp;“Our financial results now demonstrate a level of strength that dwarfs the performance of essentially every software company in history at this scale,” said CEO Alex Karp in a letter to shareholders.&nbsp;Palantir’s recent U.S. defense contracts and a rising commercial customer base for its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) have helped the firm beat market expectations for 11 consecutive quarters.&nbsp;For instance, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) awarded Palantir a contract of up to $300 million last month to provide USDA with capabilities to support American farmers secure farmland, enhance supply chain resilience, and shield agricultural programs from fraud, abuse, and foreign adversary influence.&nbsp;The software developer closed 206 deals of at least $1 million, 72 deals of at least $5 million, and 47 deals of at least $10 million during the quarter ending March 2026.<h2 class="st-heading-2">PLTR Q2 And 2026 Guidance</h2>PLTR sees Q2 revenue between $1.797 - $1.801 billion, far exceeding expectations of $1.680 billion. The firm also raised its full-year revenue guidance to between $7.65 - $7.66 billion, beating expectations of $7.28 billion. &nbsp;The company also forecast full-year income from its U.S. commercial business to hit an excess of $3.22 billion, 120% higher than the previous year.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">PLTR Valuations&nbsp;</h2>Palantir’s stretched multiples have been a deterrent for investors. PLTR Reports Largest Quarterly Revenue Jump, Quadrupled Profits, But Valuation Concerns Persist

Palantir’s Q2 and 2026 outlook surges past expectations.

The proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) presents a “big, bold, and game-changing move according to Diffley.&nbsp;“Pessimism presents an opportunity as the Warner deal is transformative and AI can turbocharge legacy assets,” said Diffley, who sees a "clear synergy and de-levering path."In late February, Paramount won a legal battle with Netflix to buy Warner Bros., the parent company of HBO Max, which owns some of the world's best movie intellectual properties, including Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and The Lord of the Rings. Under the agreement, Anthropic has selected Lumen to develop a high-capacity network to power its AI research and operations.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Expanding EBITDA Margins By 2030</h2>The company outlined several multi-year financial goals. It aims to expand adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) margins from 27.1% in 2025 to the mid-30% range by 2030.Lumen also plans to boost free cash flow through higher margins, lower capital intensity, and revenue growth, and expects business segment revenue to return to growth in 2028. Additionally, the company will introduce a new revenue reporting framework. Starting in the first quarter of 2026, Lumen will report revenue by products and services to better reflect its enterprise-focused strategy, it stated.“Our objective is clear: accelerate investment in AI and our digital future, and where it drives the highest returns to deliver shareholder value,” said CFO Chris Stansbury.Lumen stated it remains on track to reach 47 million fiber miles by the end of 2028.
