Litecoin was the first to alter Bitcoin and the most significant difference is that it takes 2.5 minutes for Litecoin to generate a block, or transaction, in comparison to Bitcoin's 10 minutes.  ‘While this matters little to traders, miners who use hardware to run Bitcoin's network cannot switch over to Litecoin. This keeps bigger mining conglomerates away from Litecoin because they cannot easily optimize their profits by swapping to another coin, contributing to a more decentralized experience. Litecoin also has bigger blocks, and more coins in circulation, making it more affordable and swift when transacting,’ Investopedia explained.  As explained above, Litecoin can transact a lot faster than Bitcoin, but there are also a number of other characteristics that investors need to know before trading. Litecoin can handle higher volumes of transactions because of the capability of transacting faster and if Bitcoin attempted to transact on the scale of its altcoin, a code update would be needed. However, Litecoin’s blocks would be larger, but with more ‘orphaned blocks'. The faster block time of litecoin reduces the risk of double spending attacks - this is theoretical in the case of both networks having the same hashing power.  Litecoin Technical Details: The transaction confirmation time taken for Litecoin is about 2.5 minutes on average (as compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes). The Litecoin network is scheduled to cap at 84 million currency units.   Litecoin has inspired many other popular alternative currencies (eg. Dogecoin) because of its Scrypt hashing algorithm in order to prevent ASIC miners from mining those coins. However it is said that by the end of this year, Scrypt ASIC will enter the mass market.

It's the company’s second vehicle after its Air sedan.As per the CFO, the consumer base for the Gravity includes former Lucid owners who want to move to a bigger car and also people who used to own SUVs in the past and wanted an upgrade. However, both the Lucid Air and Gravity are higher end vehicles. While the Air starts at around $70,900, the Gravity starts at $79,900 for the base variant.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Lucid Eyes Market Expansion With Mid-Size Vehicles</h2>Lucid is now seeking to expand its addressable market with vehicles based on its mid-size platform and priced around $50,000. The company is looking to launch three different cars based on the platform.Production is slated to start four quarters from now, Boussaid said.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Uber Partnership</h2>Ride-hailing platform Uber in July inked a partnership with Lucid to deploy its vehicles as robotaxis by deploying them with technology from California-based robotics company Nuro. A damaged seat belt pretensioner cable may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash, the U.S. auto safety regulator said.The company said that since early November, it started building the vehicles with a seat belt misuse detection feature.As for a solution, Rivian has released an over-the-air software update to detect seatbelt misuse. The company will also inspect and replace the driver's seat belt pretensioner assembly as necessary, free of charge to the customer. Rivian Recalls Nearly 35,000 Units Of Its Delivery Vans Over Seat Belt Pretensioner Wear-out Concerns

The company said that the deal is aimed at advancing its strategy for new AI and cloud data centers.Most data centers use old-school copper wires to link AI chips called XPUs. Celestial AI's "Photonic Fabric" technology uses light (optics) instead of electricity through wires, reducing latency while providing high bandwidth.“As bandwidth and reach continue to increase, every connection point in the data center must move from copper to optical,” Marvell said.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Financial Impact</h2>The company expects meaningful revenue contributions from the acquisition starting in the second half of fiscal 2028, touching a $500 million annualized run rate in the fourth quarter (Q4) of fiscal 2028 and doubling to a $1 billion dollar run rate by Q4 of fiscal 2029.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Q3 Earnings</h2>The company on Tuesday also <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://investor.marvell.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/999/marvell-technology-inc-reports-third-quarter-of-fiscal-year-2026-financial-results">reported</a> third quarter adjusted earnings per share of $0.76, above an analyst estimate of $0.74, according to data from Fiscal AI.Net revenue in the quarter came at $2.075 billion, setting a new record and marking a growth of 37% while also exceeding expectations of $2.07 billion.“Looking ahead, we see demand for our products continuing to accelerate, and as a result, our data center revenue growth forecast for next year is now higher than prior expectations,” said Marvell CEO Matt Murphy. “I am also excited to announce the acquisition of Celestial AI – a transformational milestone that accelerates our scale-up roadmap for interconnect.
