Also FDA asked the company to modify couple items on labeling and resubmit within 14 days of yesterday's letter to company. May be thats why the company hasnt issued a pr yet i'd assume. In the mean time APPROVAL is already dated and sealed. This is super accretive for 2027 revenues as it could double at a minimum
what an opportunity to load while some people still confused and no official pr out yet.

This is not an approval thats followed by building a sales team and manufacturing plants. All structures are already in place and already generating revenues. A very little extra cost needed for launch with lots of added revenues. This is one sweet deal you dont get with many approvals.

This is the part that makes BFRI interesting.

The FDA’s PDUFA date for Ameluz for superficial basal cell carcinoma (sBCC) is September 28, 2026. 

If approved, management expects a Q1 2027 commercial launch and says Ameluz would become the first PDT in the U.S. approved for treatment of cancerous skin tumors. 

And the Phase 3 data are strong:

* Composite clearance: 65.5% vs. 4.8% placebo
* Complete histological clearance: 75.9% vs. 19.0%
* Complete clinical clearance: 83.4% vs. 21.4% 

Extremely high chance of FDA approval!!

$BFRI I am thinking many here will be looking back at this day and asking ourselves “Remember that one day in mid September just one day after official approval of a drug that dermatologists are already using for another indication that the stock price plummeted despite the company finally having a strong path to financial success. Why didn’t I add a ton?” I won’t be asking that because I am adding a ton today.

$BFRI did some reading. 20% of 3 million patients have superficial basal cell carcinoma. So about 600k. Ameluz has results of 93,4% clearance. That's very good. Surgical removal has max 97% clearance, but leads to more discomfort/@pain and scars. So a lot of people will choose ameluz in stead of surgery. Results are about the same. 
60k patients (conservative 10% of number of patients) x $ 1000 netrevenue (3 tubes) = 60m revenue. With a margin of 80% and after costst/taxes, net profit a share (20m) will be $2. 
The co has the structure already in place.
