CoreWeave (CRWV), a cloud infrastructure provider backed by Nvidia (NVDA), announced on Monday that it will offer $1.5 billion in aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes due 2031 in a private placement.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/CRWV">CoreWeave’s stock</a> edged&nbsp;1.4%&nbsp;higher in pre-market trade.&nbsp;However, on Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the company dipped to ‘bullish’ from ‘extremely bullish’ a day ago amid ‘high’ levels of chatter.The stock was also buoyed by a price target hike from Barclays ahead of second-quarter (Q2) tech earnings, which are set to kick off this week. CoreWeave Inc. (CRWV) announced on Monday that it has agreed to purchase Core Scientific Inc. (CORZ), a data center infrastructure company, through an all-stock merger.&nbsp;Following the news,&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/CRWV">CoreWeave stock</a> traded 5% lower on Monday after the&nbsp;opening&nbsp;bell. The deal increases its potential cumulative revenue to over $6.70 billion through the 12 year term.Adam Sullivan, Core Scientific’s Chief Executive Officer pointed out that the firm has contracted with CoreWeave for a total of 382 megawatts of HPC infrastructure, reflecting the strong demand for high-power data center infrastructure.Interestingly, all capital investments required to modify Core Scientific’s existing infrastructure into cutting-edge, application-specific data centers customized for dense HPC will be funded by CoreWeave.Core Scientific stock has made a tremendous recovery this year, having gained over 176% since its January IPO closing price.Investors are now awaiting the firm’s second-quarter earnings scheduled to be released after the bell on Wednesday.
