CRISIL secures board approval for new step down subsidiary, shares see marginal dip

The Board of CRISIL at its meeting held on 12 September 2023 has approved incorporation of a step-down by CRISIL Ratings, an existing wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, to carry out the business of ESG Ratings Provider (ERP). The Board approved the transfer of existing wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, to carry out the business of ESG Ratings Provider (ERP).

CRISIL announced that the Board of CRISIL Irevna UK, an existing subsidiary of CRISIL has approved the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in the name of “Crisil Irevna Information Technology Colombia SAS” in Colombia.The proposed WOS to be incorporated shall provide risk and data analytics, research, modelling assignments, tech-enabled solutions and bespoke research services to its clients. Its services and business will be similar to the main line of businesses of CRISIL.

CRISIL announced that in the Board of Directors of Greenwich Associates Canada, ULC, (GA Canada) a wholly owned subsidiary of CRISIL, has approved closure of GA Canada on 14 July 2023.

CRISIL has fixed 02 August 2023 as record date for payment of second interim dividend for financial year ending 31 December 2023, if approved. The dividend will be paid on 14 August 2023.
