The loss increased due to the impairment of goodwill and long-lived assets, increased operating expenses and decreased gross profit from&nbsp;its&nbsp;Services segments,&nbsp;the company said.&nbsp;“Our revenue grew 20% year on year. Although our loss widened and cash burn increased, this was because of critical expenses needed to expand margins in the service business and to develop the data center opportunities including expanding manufacturing capacity, R&amp;D on our data center dual power source chiller and marketing," said Abinand Rangesh, CEO of Tecogen.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Quarter Performance</h2>Revenues for the fourth quarter were $5.32 million compared to $6.08 million for the same period in 2024, a 12.5% decrease due to weakness in its products segment.&nbsp;However, Services revenues in the quarter came at $4.46 million, compared to $4.08 million for the same period in 2024, an increase of 9.3% due to a $0.36 million increase in revenues from existing contracts and a $0.01 million increase in revenues from the acquired Aegis maintenance contracts, the company said.&nbsp;The company reported a loss per share of $0.13 per share in the fourth quarter, compared to $0.05 per share from the year-ago quarter. The increase was primarily due to the net impact of the Kodak Retirement Income Plan (KRIP) termination and reversion of assets to the company of $153 million.The company reported GAAP net loss of $108 million in Q4 2025, compared with net income of $26 million for Q4 2024. There's no one who invests their own money who would look at BLS data,” he added.&nbsp;The Federal Reserve kept the benchmark interest unchanged at 3.5%-3.75% in its January meeting. The latest Federal Open Market Committee’s (FOMC) minutes released by the Fed earlier this week revealed that the central bank might hike the interest rates if inflation does not come down to its targeted range.&nbsp;“I think it is highly irresponsible to have artificially elevated interest rates at this time. OSS in November had said that it expects full-year consolidated revenue of $63 million to $65 million, including OSS segment revenue of $30 million to $32 million.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Pivot Into Higher-Growth Segments</h2>Bressner acquired Bressner for about $5.6 million and since then, Bressner has increased annual sales from approximately $18.3 million in 2019 to nearly $33 million on a trailing 12-month basis as of September 30, 2025, the company said.OSS President and CEO Mike Knowles termed the transaction an “important milestone” in the company’s evolution.“With a more focused, streamlined and simplified business, we expect to end 2025 with a significant cash position, no debt, strong year-over-year sales growth, and higher gross margin. The company now has to provide the agency with additional information, including additional pre-clinical data, and modify the protocol design.Cassava said that it intends to work “expeditiously” with the FDA and address the items flagged by the agency. The company discontinued its efforts to develop the drug for Alzheimer’s disease and phased out the program and then committed to evaluating the drug’s potential in TSC-related epilepsy.Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a rare genetic disorder causing non-cancerous tumors (hamartomas) to grow in many organs, primarily the brain, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, and eyes. It can lead to symptoms including seizures, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and skin abnormalities.According to Austin-based Cassava, TSC affects nearly 50,000 people in the US and epilepsy is one of the most common neurological features of TSC, occurring in 84% of patients.
