The latest Federal Open Market Committee’s (FOMC) minutes released by the Fed earlier this week revealed that the central bank might hike the interest rates if inflation does not come down to its targeted range.&nbsp;“I think it is highly irresponsible to have artificially elevated interest rates at this time. Bitfarms will receive $9 million in cash upon closing, expected in Q1 2026, and up to $21 million over 10 months following closing, based on certain payment milestones, it stated.The sale of Paso Pe is the culmination of a series of transactions to completely exit LatAm and refocus the company, its management team, and capital on 100% North American power and infrastructure for HPC/AI.“This transaction brings forward an estimated two to three years of anticipated free cash flows from operations to be reinvested into our North American HPC/AI energy infrastructure in 2026,” Ben Gagnon, CEO at Bitfarms, said.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Pivot to HPC</h2>Bitfarms’ pivot into high-performance computing (HPC) and AI infrastructure comes at a time when crypto miners are increasingly struggling to make a profit as energy costs climb and Bitcoin has been showing weakness and thus are adapting to changing market conditions.It’s also not the only company to pivot towards artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. Several firms, including Core Scientific (CORZ), Iren (IREN), Hive Digital (HIVE), and Terawulf (WULF), have also announced similar strategic moves.Bitfarms plans to wind down its Bitcoin mining operations by 2027, and its transition will begin with its 18-megawatt site in Washington State. OSS in November had said that it expects full-year consolidated revenue of $63 million to $65 million, including OSS segment revenue of $30 million to $32 million.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Pivot Into Higher-Growth Segments</h2>Bressner acquired Bressner for about $5.6 million and since then, Bressner has increased annual sales from approximately $18.3 million in 2019 to nearly $33 million on a trailing 12-month basis as of September 30, 2025, the company said.OSS President and CEO Mike Knowles termed the transaction an “important milestone” in the company’s evolution.“With a more focused, streamlined and simplified business, we expect to end 2025 with a significant cash position, no debt, strong year-over-year sales growth, and higher gross margin. One Stop Systems Stock Rises After Hours On Selling Bressner To Focus On Higher-Growth Segments

The company now has to provide the agency with additional information, including additional pre-clinical data, and modify the protocol design.Cassava said that it intends to work “expeditiously” with the FDA and address the items flagged by the agency. The company added that it no longer expects to initiate the trial in question in the first half of 2026.The company failed to provide a new timing for the study, and said it would depend on its ability to provide the requested information and on satisfactory completion of FDA’s review.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Cassava Hits Multiple Roadblocks With Simufilam</h2>Cassava <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/cassava-sciences-stock-drops-over-30-percent-after-drug-fails-study/ch7yzVjRbdz">discontinued</a> Simufilam’s study in mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease in March after the drug did not fare better than placebo in reducing cognitive or functional decline in a late-stage study. The company discontinued its efforts to develop the drug for Alzheimer’s disease and phased out the program and then committed to evaluating the drug’s potential in TSC-related epilepsy.Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a rare genetic disorder causing non-cancerous tumors (hamartomas) to grow in many organs, primarily the brain, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, and eyes. It can lead to symptoms including seizures, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and skin abnormalities.According to Austin-based Cassava, TSC affects nearly 50,000 people in the US and epilepsy is one of the most common neurological features of TSC, occurring in 84% of patients. Cassava Sciences Stock On Track For Worst Day In About 9 Months — What’s Driving Today’s Selloff?

Why Did FuelCell Stock Rocket 35% Today?

The company reported fourth-quarter revenue of $55 million, well above analyst estimates of $47.2 million, according to data from Fiscal.ai. 

Kezar Life Sciences (KZR) shares rallied 47% on Friday afternoon despite analyst downgrades and price target cuts.Jefferies analyst Maury Raycroft downgraded Kezar Life Sciences to ‘Hold’ from ‘Buy’ with a price target of $7, down from $18. Meanwhile, William Blair analyst Matthew Phipps downgraded Kezar Life Sciences to ‘Market Perform’ from ‘Outperform’ without a price target. Wells Fargo kept its ‘Equal Weight’ rating on the shares but slashed the price target to $5 from $7.Kezar <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://ir.kezarlifesciences.com/news-releases/news-release-details/kezar-life-sciences-announces-regulatory-update-zetomipzomib">announced</a> on Thursday that it has initiated a process to explore strategic alternatives focused on maximizing shareholder value after being unable to align with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on a potential registrational clinical trial of Zetomipzomib in patients with relapsed and refractory autoimmune hepatitis (AIH). Autoimmune hepatitis is a rare, chronic disease that predominantly affects women and, if left untreated, can lead to cirrhosis, liver failure, and hepatocellular carcinoma.However, the FDA Division of Hepatology and Nutrition cancelled a Type C meeting that was previously scheduled with Kezar in the fourth quarter to discuss a proposed study in AIH, the company said.Earlier this year, Kezar reported positive safety and efficacy data from a clinical trial in patients with refractory or relapsed AIH. However, the regulator requested that Kezar conduct a stand-alone study to define the pharmacokinetics of Zetomipzomib in subjects with significant hepatic impairment before the initiation of another clinical trial in AIH.This study would delay future trials of Zetomipzomib in AIH by approximately two years, the company said, while adding that the requirements put forth by the FDA would also hinder patient enrollment and participation.“While we remain excited about the potential of Zetomipzomib to be the first approved agent in AIH, we lack the resources to extend the development timeline,” CEO Chris Kirk said.The company also said it would be implementing a restructuring plan, including layoffs and other cash conservation measures, as part of the strategic alternative evaluation.William Blair said on Friday that it is surprised to see the FDA refusing to host a Type C meeting.
