A broad selloff, which traders largely attribute to hotter-than-expected inflation and renewed concerns about Fed rate hikes, is driving SPY discussion. Bears point to elevated yields and weakness in tech and AI-related stocks as signs of deeper market stress, while others view the decline as an oversold pullback that could rebound.
