WDAY Workday Inc

$WDAY not many clean setups right now, but this is definitely one of them. Showing a lot of relative strength in this market…

$WDAY today was a big day for layoffs and reorg news throughout the market. I got pinged by a client that his company announced today too (totally different vertical). On Workday, this might help with the go-private talks with Silver Lake.

WORKDAY $WDAY AND ANTHROPIC JUST ANNOUNCED A NEW PARTNERSHIP Workday's Sana AI agents now connect with Claude for HR and finance work - Users can start a task in Sana or in Claude and pick it up in the other - Workday's existing permissions and audit controls apply to every action - Users confirm every change - Early access now, general availability expected in late 2026 Anthropic runs its own finance and HR on Workday, and Workday uses Claude Code to build its products.

$WDAY pulling back on both the daily + weekly after a strong bounce. Watching the $180–185 area closely — looks like the first meaningful support / EMA zone. If buyers defend it, could set up for another push toward $200 → $220 Not financial advice.

$WDAY you can tell the market still believes in a buyout because the stock has held steady since the original news

$WDAY nice looking C&H. ER not until 12/1 and perfectly formed C&H bottom with breakout. Only problem is that Stochstics...every time up there, price goes soft a while.

$WDAY OptionsFLO flow and daily chart read. The alert snapshot shows $377K in the Jan 19 $180 calls. Volume was 3.9x standing open interest at capture. Daily chart through Oct 2: last close $186.14, below its 20 day average and above its 50 day average, with RSI at 47. The 3 month range is $127.11 to $227.49. Intraday volume does not establish whether a position was opened or held; the next settled open interest is the check.

$WDAY held the 50 day moving average and is coiling into a tight bull flag after its last run. Revenue for the July quarter climbed to $2.651B from $2.34B a year ago, even as the company trimmed 2.5% of its workforce. Worth watching how this consolidation resolves. 👀

$WDAY Workday Daily Chart 📈 - Nice wedge setup and price just tested + defended the 50 DMA - Workday just cut 2.5% of their workforce and reduced some office space - Total revenue for the quarter ended July 31st surged to $2.651B, up from $2.34B a year prior. The company's revenue growth has been extremely consistent.

$WDAYWhaddya mean, “stuck for while”? Early this summer it was about $120 compared with yesterday’s close of $189. Ok, maybe range bound the past six weeks, but over the past 52 weeks it has fluctuated between $110 and $250. The recent rise in price is, I think, largely due to takeover talk by Silver Lake.

$WDAY WDAY is up about 5.56 percent, near 199.55, even with a UBS target cut on the tape. UBS kept its Neutral rating and lowered its target to 210 from 220. That leaves only about 5 percent of upside from here, which suggests UBS sees limited room after this move. Software names have tended to rally together in bursts this year, and Autodesk also jumped about 6 percent, so I'd call it a sector bounce, though I can't confirm that. For perspective, Workday traded near 130 earlier this year when it was down roughly 37 percent for 2026, so a price near 200 shows how far the rebound has gone. I'd watch whether it holds as the group gets tested. Follow me for more on the software names.

$WDAY 🤝 Workday, Inc. agrees to acquire C1.ai, a leading agentic identity platform for people and agents. Timely market event

$WDAY rough churn on what would’ve been a great day without PMI crushing our day’s dreams. On a brighter note, Workday launches UAE operations, which Silver Lake has strong ties in this region. Maybe it’s another indicator, maybe it’s just expanding the business, still good news
