While revenue beat the Street estimate of $8.3 billion, EPS came in below the estimate of $8.47, according to Fiscal AI data.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analysts Slash MELI’s Price Target&nbsp;</h2>On Friday, BTIG cut its target price on MercadoLibre to $2,150 from $2,400 while maintaining a ‘Buy’ rating on the stock, as per TheFly. The firm said investors were caught off guard by a steep decline in operating margins during Q1.The company reported a 19% YoY decrease in operating income to $611 million.&nbsp;<img src="https://news.stocktwits-cdn.com/fiscal_ai_chart_export_11_jpg_8ef16d8ba9.webp" alt="fiscal-ai-chart-export (11).jpg">According to the analyst, the company’s profitability fell well short of earlier expectations, landing near 7% for the quarter. Even so, BTIG believes MercadoLibre’s elevated spending could strengthen its competitive position over the long term by helping it build a larger and more dominant platform across Latin America.Raymond James lowered its MELI stock target to $2,000 from $2,250 but kept a ‘Strong Buy’ rating. The firm expects higher sales but lower profits over the next few years, through 2028, because it is investing more in growth and expansion.&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/MELI">MercadoLibre stock</a> edged 0.5% higher overnight, heading into Monday.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Michael Burry Buys The MELI Slump&nbsp;</h2>Michael Burry, the investor known for predicting the 2008 housing crash, disclosed a new position in MercadoLibre after the stock dropped following its earnings report.&nbsp;“And this morning I purchased a new full position in Mercado Libre MELI in the $1600s. The stock is down on earnings last night,” said Burry, in a&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://substack.com/home/post/p-196918166">Substack</a> post on Friday.&nbsp;The investor stated that MercadoLibre now trades below what he called his “IV15” valuation level.“MELI is now well below my IV15 price, at which I expect long-term 15% annualized returns at 15 years or more,” Burry said. (BIDU), and BYD Co. (BYDDF, BYDDY) were added to the list.&nbsp;The companies&nbsp;were included&nbsp;on the Defense Department’s 1260H list, which identifies businesses the U.S. believes are connected to China’s armed forces, the report said.&nbsp;The move could complicate Trump’s upcoming April visit to China, particularly discussions with President Xi Jinping about exporting Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) H200 chips. Several Wall Street analysts raised their price targets on eBay (EBAY) shares and said the specialty e-commerce company's recent results showed resilience to tariffs and macroeconomic pressures.EBay topped first-quarter sales and profit estimates on Wednesday. Its outlook for current-quarter revenue was also above expectations, though its profit forecast fell short.The company also appointed a new CFO.At least 12 brokerages, including JPMorgan, Benchmark, and Piper Sandler, raised their price targets following the results, according to The Fly.Despite continued challenging macro dynamics and U.S. tariff uncertainty, eBay remains committed to delivering low-single-digit gross merchandise volume growth and healthy shareholder returns, JPMorgan said in an investor note.Wells Fargo noted that eBay's limited tariff exposure and focus on second-hand goods make it more resilient and defensive.BMO Capital said eBay continues to execute its focus category strategy and is seen as a platform of choice for consumers seeking higher value.One of the early e-commerce sites, eBay has reconfigured its business in recent years to focus on select categories, such as collectible cards, sneakers, and accessories like watches and bags.Currently, 21 of 33 analysts rate the stock as 'hold', and nine rate it 'buy' or higher, according to Koyfin data. Ebay Flooded With Price Target Hikes As Analysts See Specialty E-Commerce Firm Easily Weathering Tariff Headwinds

Ebay on Wednesday reported Q1 results that topped Wall Street expectations and gave a strong quarterly sales forecast.

Shares of Beyond Inc. It delivered 1.2 million orders, down from 2.21 million a year earlier.Its average order was $194, up from $173 last year.Beyond, which operates brands such as Bed Bath &amp; Beyond, Overstock, and Zulily, has recently made operational and management changes to revive growth.Last year, the company announced a 20% workforce reduction and eliminated co-CEO roles.
