Private equity giant Apollo Management-backed firm Edgio Inc (EGIO) has filed for Chapter 11 relief in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Shares of the software firm plummeted nearly 80% on Monday following the disclosure.Edgio has entered the process with the support of its primary lender, Lynrock Lake Master Fund.
