Weak Amazon results and Intel guidance have intensified a broader AI and semiconductor selloff, prompting debate over whether hyperscaler spending will generate adequate returns; some traders counter that ongoing cloud growth and investment still support chip demand. Updated lifileucel lung-cancer trial results drove a sharp selloff: the overall response rate was broadly in line with the prior update, while a small, retrospectively identified biomarker subgroup showed a much higher response rate.
