However, it beat Q1 expectations of $42.6 million, as per data from&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://fiscal.ai">Fiscal.ai</a>.&nbsp;The voice recognition and AI company reported a net loss of $0.06 per share, lower than expectations of $0.1 per share, as per data from&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://fiscal.ai">Fiscal.ai</a>.&nbsp;SoundHound AI shares have been in the spotlight for its recent acquisitions and efforts around AI development. It acquired speech recognition firm LivePerson and launched Oasys, a self-learning agentic AI platform that helps businesses deploy AI agents across phone systems.&nbsp;“Excluding the impact of all acquisitions, revenue was up 88% in our core automotive and IoT AI vertical, highlighting incredible demand across all pillars of our business,” said Keyvan Mohajer, CEO and Co-founder of SoundHound AI.&nbsp;The LivePerson acquisition for $43 million is expected to drive annual revenue toward $350 million to $400 million by 2027. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, funded from existing liquidity.The company said the recent acquisition is just one part of a much bigger strategy. It added that the Muskogee campus already has one active tenant, with a 70 MW facility leased and built to support NVIDIA’s GB300 platform. The site is currently in final testing and is expected to become operational in the second quarter of 2026.Core Scientific also said that it is already studying ways to increase its power capacity from the grid, has secured about 250 acres of land for future development, and has started building a second data center. Mohajer stated that no one can predict which model wins over the next two years, and enterprises shouldn't be forced to bet on it today.The OASYS launch comes ahead of the company’s earnings later this week, with Wall Street expecting revenue of about $43 million and adjusted loss of $0.04 per share.<h2 class="st-heading-2">SoundHound CEO Pushes Partnership Over Plug-and-Play Model</h2>Mohajer also drew a distinction around how SoundHound goes to market as compared to the big tech companies. According to Mohajer, demand for AI agents is broad-based rather than concentrated in a single industry. “Every business is looking for ways to automate interactions, improve efficiency, and deliver better customer experiences,” he said.<h2 class="st-heading-2">LivePerson Deal Could Unlock Enterprise Reach</h2>SoundHound expects its reach to expand further with the planned acquisition of LivePerson, once the deal closes.
