This follows a purchase of an estimated 1420.60 BTC on Monday, bringing its weekly total thus far to around 3,519 BTC. At the current pace, Strategy could surpass last week’s purchases of approximately 4,294 BTC.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Strategy’s Ramps Up Bitcoin Buys Using STRC</h2>Strategy has been increasing the sale of its STRC shares to fund its Bitcoin purchases. Last week, the company sold 3.7 million shares to help finance part of its purchase of nearly 18,000 BTC for $1.3 billion.&nbsp;The ramp-up in Bitcoin buys funded using STRC also comes after Strategy amended its Omnibus Sales Agreement to allow multiple agents to sell the same class of securities on a single trading day during pre-market or after-hours sessions on Monday. The change allows the option to do block trades after 4 p.m. ET., which means Strategy can tap demand around macro events, or when Bitcoin makes a sharp move, outside of regular trading, rather than cramming everything into day trades.<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Is Retail Saying About MSTR Stock?</h2><a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/MSTR">MSTR’s stock</a> edged 0.42% higher after closing the day down by 0.35%. The&nbsp;reported move underscores the company’s urgency to buy back its stock quickly at depressed prices&nbsp;and puts fresh scrutiny on rising leverage across the tech sector, particularly at Oracle.&nbsp;Salesforce, whose shares have fallen about 26% year to date, is among the key software companies investors have sold off amid rising fears that general-purpose AI could reduce demand for niche enterprise software like&nbsp;the type Salesforce sells.Still, some&nbsp;corners of the market believe the software selloff was overdone, with names like Salesforce now emerging as attractive at current valuations. Microsoft, Oracle, and ServiceNow all command higher multiples, while only Adobe looks cheaper at 11.7x. These companies compete with Salesforce across CRM, marketing automation, enterprise workflows, and cloud platforms.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Retail View Dim On CRM, Peers</h2>The valuation case hasn't won over retail traders yet. Last month, Salesforce guided its 2027 sales lower than what analysts had predicted, signaling that demand for business software remains under pressure.&nbsp;On Stocktwits, retail sentiment was ‘bearish’ for CRM, ADBE, and NOW, and ‘extremely bearish’ for MSFT. Riley said it's bullish on Strategy and Strive’s ‘Digital Credit’ approach to borrow money to fund its Bitcoin purchases, but warned that its success is contingent on BTC’s price beating the cost Strategy bears to pay out dividends to its investors.&nbsp;“We believe the dividend yields offered by MSTR's and ASST's preferred instruments (currently 8.0%-12.5%) are meaningfully superior to most traditional yield-oriented alternatives,” wrote analyst Fedor Shabalin. “We expect the attractive yield to increasingly draw income-focused investors seeking consistent, above-market cash distributions.”Even under more conservative BTC return assumptions relative to historical performance, the spread between BTC's long-term CAGR (~62%) and the cost of preferred capital (~8.0%-12.5%) provides justification for the DAT model for ASST and MSTR, in our opinion.<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Are SATA and STRC?</h2>Strive At-The-Money Perpetual Preferred Stock (SATA), Strategy's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC), and Series F Perpetual Preferred Stock (STRF) fund Bitcoin purchases for Strive and Strategy while paying out with fixed dividends to investors.SATA offers an initial annual dividend rate of 12%, higher than STRC's 10.5%, and targets a trading range of $95 to $105 per share as compared to STRC's tighter band of between $99 and $100.&nbsp;The strategy allows the companies to acquire more Bitcoin without diluting their common stock. Strategy is currently the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin with 738,731 BTC in its coffers. Meanwhile, ASST has around 13,131 BTC on its balance sheet.<h2 class="st-heading-2">MSTR Stock Price Target</h2>B. Riley put a price target of $175 on MSTR’s stock, which implies a potential upside of nearly 26% from Monday’s closing. The average price target for MSTR’s stock is $394.38, implying a potential upside of 183%, according to Koyfin data. This proprietary data is ushering in a new phase of digitization.”The company saw the second consecutive quarter of GAAP profitability after it posted GAAP earnings per share of $0.04 during the quarter.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Q4 Details</h2>The company said it reported adjusted diluted net income per share of $0.56 versus $0.26 it posted in the same year-ago quarter.
