It said that it expects appreciation from here to be driven almost by higher earnings estimates.<h2 class="st-heading-2">$20 Billion Groq Deal</h2>Last week, Groq said that it had entered into a non-exclusive licensing agreement with Nvidia for its inference technology. While the company did not disclose a price, CNBC reported the deal could be valued at $20 billion.As per the deal, Nvidia will onboard Groq’s senior management team, including founder Jonathan Ross and President Sunny Madra, to help advance and scale the licensed technology.The deal comes at a time when Nvidia is facing stiff competition in the AI inference space from firms like Advanced Micro Devices and Broadcom, among others. The patient who died had hemophilia A and inhibitors.The patient participated in the active treatment phase of the parent study in 2022 prior to entering the long-term extension study in 2023, according to Pfizer.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Pfizer’s Next Moves</h2>Pfizer is now actively gathering information to understand the circumstances surrounding the death and identify the cause with the support of the trial investigator and an independent external Data Monitoring Committee. Pfizer Confirms Death Of Patient Enrolled In Hemophilia Drug Study

Revenue from the company’s Covid-19 products is expected to be $6.5 billion. &nbsp;Pfizer provides Covid vaccine called Comirnaty in addition to an antiviral medication used to treat COVID-19 called Paxlovid. In the third quarter, Paxlovid and Comirnaty saw revenues in the quarter down by 55% and 19%, respectively, on a total basis as Covid-19 infections continue to drop.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analyst Take</h2>BofA analyst Jason Gerberry subsequently lowered its price target on Pfizer to $27 from $28 while retaining a ‘Neutral’ rating on the shares. The company expects Metsera’s MET-097i, a monthly injectable GLP-1, to be market-leading. Pfizer Stock On-Track For Worst Day In Over 8 Months As BofA Flags Faster Covid-19 Product Erosion

Evercore ISI analysts reportedly expect the fire at a New York aluminum plant will erode up to $1 billion from Ford Motor Co.’s (F) earnings.According to a Reuters <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/fire-aluminum-plant-hit-fords-bottom-line-by-up-1-billion-analyst-says-2025-10-08/">report</a>, Ford refused to comment on Evercore’s estimates. However, it told the news agency that it has been working closely with Novelis and exploring all possible alternatives to minimize potential disruptions.A large portion of Novelis’ Oswego, New York, aluminum plant was knocked offline until early next year after a September 16 blaze destroyed its hot mill. This section produces aluminum for vehicles. Ford, the plant’s biggest customer, relies heavily on Oswego material for the aluminum-bodied F-150, its most profitable model.The automaker is reportedly expected to disclose the effects of the outage in its earnings report later this month. Shares of the company traded 1% lower at the time of writing.Ford’s stock witnessed a near 178% rise in retail user message count over the past 24 hours, as of Wednesday morning. Ford Faces Up To $1 Billion Hit After New York Aluminum Plant Fire, Analysts Reportedly Say

Shares of Ford Motor Co. (F) slipped 6% on Tuesday morning following reports of a late-night fire at Novelis’ Oswego, New York, aluminum plant.According to a <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/ford-f-150-faces-fresh-setback-after-blaze-knocks-out-key-aluminum-supplier-in-new-york/ch62H32R3gy">report</a> by The Wall Street Journal, a large portion of the Oswego plant was knocked offline until early next year after a September 16 blaze destroyed its hot mill. This section produces aluminum for vehicles. (F) on Wednesday announced that it sold 545,522 vehicles in the U.S. in the third quarter (Q3), marking a growth of 8.2% from the corresponding quarter of 2024.The growth was spurred by an increase in sales of the company’s trucks and SUVs by 7.4% and 9.7%, respectively. The F-series continued to be the company’s best-selling vehicle and truck in the quarter, with 207,732 units sold. In fact, the company has sold over 600,000 units of the truck year-to-date, outpacing its nearest competitor by an estimated 170,000 units.Ford’s EV sales, meanwhile, rose 30.2% to 30,612 units as customers rushed to make their purchases before the federal tax credit on EVs expired on September 30. (F) CEO Jim Farley reportedly believes that the elimination of federal tax credit on the purchase of electric vehicles and other Trump policies will sharply curtail EV demand in the U.S.Farley predicted the share of zero-emission vehicles could decline by half, according to a Bloomberg <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-30/ford-s-ceo-sees-trump-policies-cutting-us-ev-market-in-half?srnd=homepage-americas">report</a>. ZEVs currently account for 10% of the domestic market.&nbsp;“I wouldn’t be surprised if EV sales in the U.S. go down to 5%,” Farley said at a conference in Detroit, as reported by Bloomberg. Ford CEO Jim Farley Reportedly Expects US EV Demand To Decline Sharply – Here’s Why

According to a Bloomberg report, Farley predicted the share of zero-emission vehicles could fall by half.

(F) is recalling 115,539 vehicles in the U.S. over concerns regarding loss of steering control, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Wednesday.The recall includes certain model year 2020-2021 F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks. <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V626-1284.pdf">According</a> to the regulator, the steering column’s upper shaft may detach from the column, resulting in a loss of steering control and an increased risk of a crash.As for a solution, dealers will inspect the steering column and repair or replace the upper shaft as necessary, it said. The vehicles affected by the recall were built between Feb. 19, 2019, and Sept. 30, 2020, at the Kentucky Truck Plant.The regulator stated that Ford is aware of seven warranty claims, three field reports, and four customer call hotline reports, all of which are likely related to the concerns as of September 11. Ford Recalls Over 115,000 F-Series Trucks Due To Loss Of Steering Control Concerns

According to NHTSA, the steering column’s upper shaft may detach from the column, resulting in a loss of steering control and an increased risk of a crash. 

Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY) announced on Tuesday that a late-stage study evaluating Iberdomide in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity rates compared to the control arm, when combined with standard therapies.Minimal residual disease (MRD) refers to the small number of cancer cells that may remain in a patient’s body after treatment.
