The F-series continued to be the company’s best-selling vehicle and truck in the quarter, with 207,732 units sold. Ford US Sales Soar 8.2% In Q3 Over Strong Truck, SUV Demand

(F) CEO Jim Farley reportedly believes that the elimination of federal tax credit on the purchase of electric vehicles and other Trump policies will sharply curtail EV demand in the U.S.Farley predicted the share of zero-emission vehicles could decline by half, according to a Bloomberg <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-30/ford-s-ceo-sees-trump-policies-cutting-us-ev-market-in-half?srnd=homepage-americas">report</a>. Ford CEO Jim Farley Reportedly Expects US EV Demand To Decline Sharply – Here’s Why

According to a Bloomberg report, Farley predicted the share of zero-emission vehicles could fall by half.

(F) is recalling 115,539 vehicles in the U.S. over concerns regarding loss of steering control, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Wednesday.The recall includes certain model year 2020-2021 F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks. <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V626-1284.pdf">According</a> to the regulator, the steering column’s upper shaft may detach from the column, resulting in a loss of steering control and an increased risk of a crash.As for a solution, dealers will inspect the steering column and repair or replace the upper shaft as necessary, it said. The customer will not be charged for the fix. The final remedy is expected to be available by December 2025, the regulator addedFord shares rose 0.3% on Wednesday morning at the time of writing. Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY) announced on Tuesday that a late-stage study evaluating Iberdomide in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity rates compared to the control arm, when combined with standard therapies.Minimal residual disease (MRD) refers to the small number of cancer cells that may remain in a patient’s body after treatment. Bristol Myers Announces Positive Outcomes From Multiple Myeloma Late-Stage Study

The company announced that the trial will proceed without changes to evaluate the progression-free survival, overall survival, and safety endpoints.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) stated on Tuesday that it has closed a probe into Ford Motor Co.’s (F) nearly 46,000 model year 2021 Bronco vehicles following the company’s recent recall actions.The NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened the probe in July 2024 to investigate complaints of low-pressure fuel pump failures in Bronco vehicles. Some customers alleged that the failure occurred without warning while driving, resulting in a loss of motive power with no ability to restart the engine.Ford then identified low-pressure fuel pumps similar to the one in the model year 2021 Bronco in other vehicle models, including the model year 2021-2025 Ford Mustang. Subsequently, in July, Ford filed a recall for 850,318 vehicles produced between July 1, 2021, and July 30, 2022. The recall included some Lincoln vehicles in addition to Ford models.While the ODI has identified approximately 1,000 reports involving vehicles excluded from the July recall, these vehicles experience comparatively lower failure rates than the vehicles included in the recall, the regulator said.The recall remedy is currently under development, but ODI <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/inv/2024/INCLA-PE24019-85992.pdf">chose</a> to close the probe in view of Ford’s recall action. US Regulator Closes Probe Into Ford Bronco Vehicles – Here’s What Happened
