Like other cryptocurrencies, Ripple is built atop the idea of a distributed ledger network which requires various parties to participate in validating transactions, rather than any singular centralized authority. That facilitates transactions all over the world, and transfer fees are far cheaper than the likes of bitcoin. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, XRP transfers are effectively immediate, requiring no typical confirmation time.  Ripple was originally founded by a single company, Ripple Labs, and continues to be backed by it, rather than the larger network of developers that continue bitcoin’s development. It also doesn’t have a fluctuating amount of its currency in existence. Where bitcoin has a continually growing pool with an eventual maximum, and Ethereum theoretically has no limit, Ripple was created with all of its 100 billion XRP tokens right out of the gate. That number is maintained with no mining and most of the tokens are owned and held by Ripple Labs itself — around 60 billion at the latest count.  Even at the recently reduced value of around half a dollar per XRP, that means Ripple Labs is currently sitting on around $20 billion worth of the cryptocurrency (note: Ripple’s price crashed hard recently, and may be worth far less than $60 billion by time you read this). It holds 55 billion XRP in an escrow account, which allows it to sell up to a billion per month if it so chooses in order to fund new projects and acquisitions. Selling such an amount would likely have a drastic effect on the cryptocurrency’s value, and isn’t something Ripple Labs plans to do anytime soon.  In actuality, Ripple Labs is looking to leverage the technology behind XRP to allow for faster banking transactions around the world. While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are built on the idea of separating financial transactions from the financial organizations of traditional currencies, Ripple is almost the opposite in every sense. The F-series continued to be the company’s best-selling vehicle and truck in the quarter, with 207,732 units sold. Ford US Sales Soar 8.2% In Q3 Over Strong Truck, SUV Demand

(F) CEO Jim Farley reportedly believes that the elimination of federal tax credit on the purchase of electric vehicles and other Trump policies will sharply curtail EV demand in the U.S.Farley predicted the share of zero-emission vehicles could decline by half, according to a Bloomberg <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-30/ford-s-ceo-sees-trump-policies-cutting-us-ev-market-in-half?srnd=homepage-americas">report</a>. Ford CEO Jim Farley Reportedly Expects US EV Demand To Decline Sharply – Here’s Why

According to a Bloomberg report, Farley predicted the share of zero-emission vehicles could fall by half.

(F) is recalling 115,539 vehicles in the U.S. over concerns regarding loss of steering control, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Wednesday.The recall includes certain model year 2020-2021 F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks. <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V626-1284.pdf">According</a> to the regulator, the steering column’s upper shaft may detach from the column, resulting in a loss of steering control and an increased risk of a crash.As for a solution, dealers will inspect the steering column and repair or replace the upper shaft as necessary, it said. The customer will not be charged for the fix. The final remedy is expected to be available by December 2025, the regulator addedFord shares rose 0.3% on Wednesday morning at the time of writing. The vehicles affected by the recall were built between Feb. 19, 2019, and Sept. 30, 2020, at the Kentucky Truck Plant.The regulator stated that Ford is aware of seven warranty claims, three field reports, and four customer call hotline reports, all of which are likely related to the concerns as of September 11. Ford Recalls Over 115,000 F-Series Trucks Due To Loss Of Steering Control Concerns

According to NHTSA, the steering column’s upper shaft may detach from the column, resulting in a loss of steering control and an increased risk of a crash. 

Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY) announced on Tuesday that a late-stage study evaluating Iberdomide in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity rates compared to the control arm, when combined with standard therapies.Minimal residual disease (MRD) refers to the small number of cancer cells that may remain in a patient’s body after treatment. Bristol Myers Announces Positive Outcomes From Multiple Myeloma Late-Stage Study

The company announced that the trial will proceed without changes to evaluate the progression-free survival, overall survival, and safety endpoints.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) stated on Tuesday that it has closed a probe into Ford Motor Co.’s (F) nearly 46,000 model year 2021 Bronco vehicles following the company’s recent recall actions.The NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened the probe in July 2024 to investigate complaints of low-pressure fuel pump failures in Bronco vehicles. Some customers alleged that the failure occurred without warning while driving, resulting in a loss of motive power with no ability to restart the engine.Ford then identified low-pressure fuel pumps similar to the one in the model year 2021 Bronco in other vehicle models, including the model year 2021-2025 Ford Mustang. Subsequently, in July, Ford filed a recall for 850,318 vehicles produced between July 1, 2021, and July 30, 2022. The recall included some Lincoln vehicles in addition to Ford models.While the ODI has identified approximately 1,000 reports involving vehicles excluded from the July recall, these vehicles experience comparatively lower failure rates than the vehicles included in the recall, the regulator said.The recall remedy is currently under development, but ODI <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/inv/2024/INCLA-PE24019-85992.pdf">chose</a> to close the probe in view of Ford’s recall action. However, the agency will continue to monitor the issue as a remedy is developed and implemented, and will take additional action if warranted in the future, it said.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/F">Shares of Ford</a> rose 2% at the time of writing. US Regulator Closes Probe Into Ford Bronco Vehicles – Here’s What Happened

The NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened the probe in July 2024 to investigate complaints of low-pressure fuel pump failures in Bronco vehicles.
