The deal, approved by the boards of both companies, is valued at $72 per share in cash. This represented a 46% premium over RNA stock’s closing price of $49.15 on Friday.The total transaction value is $12 billion on a fully diluted basis. Avidity Biosciences currently boasts a market capitalization of $7.17 billion.Vas Narasimhan, CEO of Novartis, said, “Avidity’s pioneering AOC platform for RNA therapeutics ​and its late-stage assets bolster our commitment to delivering innovative, targeted, and potentially first-in-class medicines to treat devastating, progressive neuromuscular diseases.”Before the merger's closing, Avidity will transfer its early-stage precision cardiology programs and collaborations to SpinCo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Avidity. A Schedule 13D is filed by a person who acquires more than 5% of a voting class of a company’s stock, and who does not otherwise qualify to file a short-form report on Schedule 13G. According to the 13D filing, Belfiore now holds a 22.1% stake in AiRWA.AiRWA, formerly Connexa Sports Technologies, rebranded itself to the present name on Oct. 7, underlining its thrust into the Web3 space and blockchain technology. In late August, the company, which was then called Connex Sports, struck a $500 million agreement with Singapore-based JuCoin to establish aiRWA, a next-generation digital asset platform jointly.&nbsp;According to the companies, the venture will focus on real-world asset (RWA) tokenization aimed at bringing traditional investments such as real estate, government bonds, and fine arts into a digital format. Achieve Life Sciences Stock Soars On Receiving FDA Voucher For Expediting Review Of Investigational Drug In Vaping Cessation

Micro-Cap Emerson Radio Stock Surges By Two-Thirds In 2 Days, And Then Some More, Piquing Retail Traders

The home appliance company's shares snagged nearly the highest possible sentiment reading on Stocktwits.

Special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Churchill Capital Corp X (CCCX)&nbsp;shares were up over 4% in early premarket trading on Wednesday, poised to extend their winning streak to six sessions. The optimism over the shell company’s impending merger with the privately held quantum computing company Infleqtion has increased retail traders’ interest in Churchill Capital stock.The stock jumped 14% on Tuesday after Andrew Left’s Citron Research said the company is undervalued. Comparing Infleqtion with Rigetti (RGTI), the firm stated that the former actually sells quantum hardware, sensors, and atomic clocks, whereas the latter remains an underfunded science project.If both companies shared the same market capitalization, Churchill Capital should be trading at over $60, Citron said. Notwithstanding the stock's 80% rally seen since Sept. 8, when it announced its plan to merge with Infleqtion, it still traded at $18.23.Citron said, “Most investors don’t realize Infleqtion already has real defense and aerospace contracts — with DARPA and the Air Force Research Lab — and is shipping deployable quantum systems today.
