Citing channel checks, the analysts stated that the company experienced increased momentum in the field due to its cyber platform approach.&nbsp;“CrowdStrike remains one of our favorite tech names, and we are seeing deal momentum spread, with AI [artificial intelligence] also a clear tailwind for this well-positioned tech leader,” Ives said.&nbsp; “We believe increased market and mind share is happening for CrowdStrike among new and existing customers.”The analyst noted that since the start of the calendar year 2025, revenue tied to cyber-AI products has been significantly higher than the year-ago period. He also added that the company is well-positioned to continue capitalizing on the AI cybersecurity trend due to the strength and stickiness of the Falcon platform.&nbsp;“We believe the Street is underestimating the growth potential for CrowdStrike as a second/third derivative beneficiary of the AI Revolution,” Ives said. (CRWD) has garnered a cautious outlook from Wall Street analysts, despite stronger-than-expected second-quarter (Q2) earnings, due to tempered expectations for the back half of the year.The cybersecurity provider reported Q2 revenue of $1.17 billion and an adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.93, both of which exceeded the analysts' consensus estimates of $1.15 billion and $0.83, respectively, according to Fiscal AI data. For FY2026, the company expects revenue to be between $4.749 billion and $4.805 billion, compared to an estimated $4.77 billion.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/CRWD">CrowdStrike stock</a> traded over 3% lower in Thursday’s premarket. CrowdStrike Draws Caution From Wall Street Over Growth Outlook, But Retail Goes Contrarian

Canaccord stated that while net-new annual recurring revenue (ARR) jumped to $221 million from $194 million in the previous quarter, overall ARR and subscription revenue growth continued to decelerate year-on-year. 

Morgan Stanley analyst Keith Weiss downgraded cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (CRWD), citing concerns that its strong rally has largely priced in upcoming growth.&nbsp;As per TheFly, Weiss rated the stock as ‘Equal Weight’, down from the previous ‘Overweight’ rating and modestly raised the price target to $495 from $490, suggesting a tempered view on the cybersecurity firm's future upside.Following the downgrade,&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/CRWD">CrowdStrike stock&nbsp;</a>inched lower by 0.4% on Monday afternoon.The firm noted that CrowdStrike shares have climbed approximately 50% from their April lows, leaving limited room for further gains.&nbsp;“The expected second half of 2025 growth acceleration now looks well priced into the stock,” Weiss told investors in a research note, signaling that much of the anticipated progress is already reflected in the current valuation.While still praising CrowdStrike’s long-term strategic positioning in cybersecurity, the analyst expressed caution around the stock’s near-term potential.&nbsp;The analyst opined that despite its competitive moat and growth trajectory, the recent surge may have diminished the margin for additional upside.The company’s first-quarter (Q1)&nbsp;revenue climbed 20% year over year (YoY) to $1.103 billion, slightly below the $1.105-billion consensus estimate as per Finchat data.However, the adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.73 surpassed the analysts' consensus estimate of $0.66. Morgan Stanley Downgrades CrowdStrike Amid Price Surge, But Retail Finds No Reason To Be Pessimistic

The firm downgraded the stock to ‘Equal Weight’, citing limited upside potential after a 50% rally. 

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (CRWD) shares declined over 7% in Wednesday’s premarket after analysts downgraded the stock following a first-quarter (Q1) revenue miss and soft guidance.The cybersecurity vendor’s Q1 revenue grew 20% year-on-year (YoY) to $1.10 billion, marginally missing the consensus estimate of $1.105 billion, as per Finchat data.The adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.73 surpassed an estimate of $0.66.BofA lowered its rating on the stock from ‘Outperform’ to ‘Neutral’, but increased the price target to $470 from $420, as per TheFly.&nbsp;The firm remains positive on CrowdStrike's core business and growth outlook, but believes the current valuation limits further gains.&nbsp;The new target implies only about a 3% upside from the stock’s current levels.&nbsp;Notably, the company’s sales growth slowed to below 20% in the first half of fiscal year 2026. CrowdStrike Stock Slumps Post Q1 Print As Analysts Turn Cautious: Retail Seizes Pullback Opportunity

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (CRWD) shares fell sharply in Tuesday’s post-market session after the cybersecurity vendor announced a small quarterly revenue miss and soft topline guidance. The company also announced a $1 billion stock buyback authorization.Austin, Texas-based CrowdStrike reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.73 compared to the year-ago quarter’s $0.79 and the Finchat-compiled consensus of $0.66.Revenue climbed 20% year over year (YoY) to $1.103 billion,&nbsp;slightly below the $1.105-billion consensus estimate and the upper end of the guided range. The topline growth slowed from 25% in the previous quarter.Among key user metrics, the annual recurring revenue (ARR) rose 22% and stood at $4.44 billion as of April 30, with $193.8 million being the net new ARR.&nbsp;The company noted that the adjusted subscription gross margin contracted YoY to 80% from 81%.CEO George Kurtz said, “We started the fiscal year with record Q1 large deal and MSSP momentum alongside sustained 97% gross retention and consistently strong net retention as the market consolidates on Falcon as its cybersecurity platform of choice for the agentic AI era.”Looking ahead, CrowdStrike guided second-quarter adjusted EPS and revenue to $0.82-$0.84 and $1.1447 billion-$1.1516 billion.respectively.Analysts, on average, expect the numbers to be at $0.81 and $1.160 billion, respectively.The company raised its full-year EPS guidance to $3.44-$3.56 from $3.33-$3.45 but maintained the revenue outlook at $4.7435 billion-$4.8055 billion.
