Intels post-results selloff centers on a weaker-than-expected outlook, with traders pointing to persistent PC weakness and manufacturing constraints despite stronger areas of the quarterly report. The community is split between calling the decline an overreaction and buying the dip, and seeing the guidance as a sign of prolonged weakness and further downside.

SanDisk is selling off despite a strong quarterly report, raised guidance and an announced 8-for-1 split, amid a broader tech and chip-sector decline after a sharp rally. Traders debate whether the drop is profit-taking and sector pressure or a warning that memory pricing may be peaking; bullish traders argue demand and results remain strong.

Bitcoin is the world's first decentralized cryptocurrency, created in 2009 by the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto. It enables peer-to-peer electronic cash transactions without intermediaries like banks or governments, operating on a blockchain secured by Proof of Work mining and the SHA-256 cryptographic algorithm. With a fixed supply cap of 21 million coins and programmatic halvings every four years that reduce miner rewards, Bitcoin is designed as a deflationary digital asset often called "digital gold." Its value stems from solving the double-spending problem without trusted intermediaries, creating the first truly scarce digital asset with censorship resistance and permissionless access that no government, corporation, or individual can control. Bitcoin operates as a decentralized peer-to-peer network where transactions are recorded on a public ledger called the blockchain, distributed across thousands of computers globally. Transactions are grouped into blocks added approximately every 10 minutes through mining, where specialized computers compete to solve complex mathematical puzzles. Bitcoin has achieved mainstream adoption through multiple vectors. The January 2024 SEC approval of 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs opened Bitcoin investment to traditional finance participants, and corporations like Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) are using Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset to protect against currency debasement, offering MSTR holders amplified exposure to Bitcoin. The Bitcoin ecosystem continues to evolve with innovations like Ordinals, which emerged in January 2023 to enable NFT-like functionality directly on Bitcoin, and BRC-20 tokens, an experimental standard for creating fungible tokens using Ordinal inscriptions. BTCFi (Bitcoin Finance) represents emerging financial applications extending beyond Bitcoin's traditional role, with protocols like Babylon allowing Bitcoin holders to stake BTC to secure Proof of Stake chains.

Bitcoin

A reported major Binance security breach and temporary suspension of deposits and withdrawals have weighed on Bitcoin, renewing concerns about exchange security and crypto-market confidence. Traders disagree on whether the selloff signals deeper downside or a buying opportunity, with some emphasizing that the incident involved an exchange rather than Bitcoins network and noting Bitcoins relative resilience.

Amazons quarterly results and outlook have drawn attention as investors weigh heavy AI and data-center spending, negative free cash flow, and modest revenue and earnings misses against accelerating AWS growth. The selloff has prompted debate between traders concerned that spending may outpace returns and those viewing the cloud growth and infrastructure demand as a long-term positive.

Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 - Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1

A tech-led selloff following Amazon and Intel results has intensified concerns that heavy AI spending may not deliver adequate returns, weighing on the Nasdaq-100. Traders debate whether this signals a broader AI-trade unwind or an overdone pullback, with some viewing the decline as a buying opportunity.

Apple, Inc. engages in the design, manufacture, and sale of smartphones, personal computers, tablets, wearables and accessories, and other varieties of related services. It operates through the following geographical segments: Americas, Europe, Greater China, Japan, and Rest of Asia Pacific. The Americas segment includes North and South America. The Europe segment consists of European countries, as well as India, the Middle East, and Africa. The Greater China segment comprises China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The company was founded by Steven Paul Jobs, Ronald Gerald Wayne, and Stephen G. Wozniak in April 1976 and is headquartered in Cupertino, CA.

Apple Inc

Apples relative strength as other technology and AI-linked stocks sell off is driving discussion, with traders describing it as a safe-haven or anti-AI rotation that is helping support broader indexes. Bulls view its lower AI spending and established business as defensive, while bears argue the valuation is stretched and question whether earnings, product demand, and iPhone Duo screen complaints can justify the share price.

Rivian Automotive, Inc. engages in the design, development, and manufacture of category-defining electric vehicles and accessories. It operates through following segments: Automotive, Software and Services. The company was founded by Robert J. Scaringe in June 2009 and is headquartered in Irvine, CA.

Reddits post-earnings selloff is centered on below-expectation Q4 guidance, weaker-than-expected user growth and declining Google search referrals, alongside plans to test a logged-in-only experience. Traders worry AI-driven search changes and a login wall could further reduce traffic, while others view the drop as an overreaction to an otherwise strong quarter.

In the 26-patient stiff person syndrome study, walking speed improved by a median 49% at one year. Nearly all patients who had gained ground by week 16 still held that gain. Most no longer needed long-term immune-suppressing drugs, and two-thirds of those who once used a walking aid no longer needed one.

Safety stayed clean: No severe cytokine storms or the most serious treatment-related brain side effects. Five patients had expected low white-cell counts; all were manageable, and none had serious infections, the company said.

A smaller myasthenia gravis study of seven patients showed the same theme. All improved on standard symptom scores by six months, and those followed for a year or more kept the benefit. Most remained off chronic medicines.

What Executives Emphasized

Chief executive Warner Biddle said the durability “exceeded even our expectations.”

Biddle said SPS is expensive and devastating: treating one patient can cost $700,000 to more than $1.5 million over three years, and fewer than 1 in 5 patients are still working four years after diagnosis. That burden, he said, supports charging more than the $500,000 to $600,000 now paid for similar cancer cell therapies. About 6,000 people in the U.S. have been diagnosed. At launch, Kyverna plans to start with the 2,000 to 2,500 patients who are not getting enough help from current off-label drugs, many of them treated at about 10 major academic hospitals.

What Comes Next

Kyverna said it will fold the one-year stiff person syndrome results into a rolling application for U.S. approval, still slated to finish in the fourth quarter of 2026.
