KPLT Katapult Holdings Inc

$KPLT 70 to 80% short volume on fintel - someone is building a short position on almost no volume to keep it from falling

$KPLT This company is undervalued and taken down based on profit be eaten more with the loan terms and rate hikes. I see a company that is now profitable just starting as a synergy which can work out better cost efficiencies. This reminds me of early Sezzle listing when once it announced profitability and better operating margins it was off to the races. Don't believe the acquisition would have been made on the market and not private it the insiders felt they couldn't make multiples on the current evaluation.

$KPLT with 4 billion in revenue and profitable of about 70 million this year. At this marketcap its at .07 P/S. You're smoking some 🔥🪨 if you think after earnings this won't adjust upwards.

$KPLT There are only two scenarios. The first involves a major shareholder dumping their entire position—such as HHCF offloading its 645K shares (acquired at near-zero cost) or Iridian Asset selling its 872K shares, which triggers this kind of sharp drop. The other scenario is that existing shareholders collectively manipulate the market to shake out retail investors by triggering their stop-loss orders. They short the stock against each other to drive the price down until no one dares to buy; once they have accumulated a larger share of the holdings, they push the price back to its original range ($8–$9.5) and wait for positive news or a strong earnings report to drive it up to the $12–$16 level. Because there is no specific catalyst for this kind of crash, the SEC isn't investigating, allowing these players to manipulate retail investors with impunity. We will know exactly what happened once the short position data is released on October 15.

$KPLT So, here's what I see when people talk about 4 billion sales, and 70 million profit. The margin in this business is razor thin: 70M/4B = 1.75% As such, tiny changes in the underlying business such as interest rates, default rates, product return rates, early lease returns, and so on, can have a huge impact on that margin. Perhaps this is the reason the stock has been so weak lately? I don't know. I don't see a smoking gun as to cause, but we can all see the price sliding down the "slippery slope".

$KPLT Who has actually been selling over the last 3 days? That’s the key question. I’d be much more concerned if institutions were dumping shares. But if this is mostly retail selling, the S-3 may have triggered a knee-jerk reaction. A lot of retail investors probably saw “~74M shares” in the S-3 and immediately assumed KPLT was about to issue 74M new shares and massively dilute existing shareholders. But that’s not what’s happening. Those shares were already part of the Aaron’s/CCFI merger consideration and have been known for months. The S-3 is primarily about registering those shares for resale—not suddenly creating another 74M shares out of nowhere. And according to the filing, the new shareholders are restricted from selling until February 2027. So if institutions aren’t selling, this could simply be retail panic over the headline number rather than a fundamental change in KPLT’s share count.

$KPLT So we're back to having this stock taken down by tens of million of dollars in market cap because of a few thousands of dollar. That is wild. I expect management to make a turnaround case Q3 earnings.

$KPLT and $UPBD comparison.... Looks like interest rates will be getting hiked for the next several months... Katapult has 25M more total shares after massive, reverse merge dilution...Katapult has lower revenue and higher total debt... Current stock prices.. KPLT is ~ $9.15, UPBD is ~$18 price per share.. Where is KPLT heading, will KPLT get over $11-12 pps end of year..over $$20 summer-fall 2027...seems possibleif if CCFI and Aaron's performs, delivers...??? Katapult Holdings (KPLT) ************************************** >> Revenue (LTM), ~$4.5B >> Total Debt (LTM), ~$1.9B >> Shares Outstanding, ~84B >> 52-Week High (October2025), $24.34 >> 52-Week Low (June2026), $5.30 Upbound Group (UPBD) ************************************** >> Revenue (LTM), ~$4.74B >> Total Debt (LTM), ~$1.71B >> Shares Outstanding, ~58.3M >> 52-Week High (December2025), $28.03 >> 52-Week Low (April2026), $15.82

$KPLT Who will buy, add more when this dips under $$4 price per share? I'll add more when it hits $$3.20-3.45 price per share.

$KPLT Friday bets... what's the Over-Under on $4.50 at the 4PM close? Place your bets before 3:30 PM....

$KPLT Name change? I don't recall seeing any announcement of a name change. Yahoo finance now says they are "CCF Holdings LLC" . Before and now after the market close:

$KPLT is this going to drop back down to $$7 price per share? What is causing the steep plunge over the last few week? They haven't released their first batch of shares they generated, diluted as part of the reverse merge with CCFI and Aaron's ...worried that might lead to a surge of supply and drive the price to under $$7 per share

$KPLT there are 1.7-2.9 millions institution shares and 3.4-2.2 millions retail shares. Maybe, just maybe one or more institutions dump their shares, and MMs picked them up and packaged sell to another institutions I bought 6000 shares today from 9.22 all the way to 8.40. Its previous support was at 8.6-8.8. If this thing goes above 8.6 in 1 or 2 days then doesn't matter, it will be go 10-12 soon, otherwise we got in trouble.
