That number is maintained with no mining and most of the tokens are owned and held by Ripple Labs itself — around 60 billion at the latest count.  Even at the recently reduced value of around half a dollar per XRP, that means Ripple Labs is currently sitting on around $20 billion worth of the cryptocurrency (note: Ripple’s price crashed hard recently, and may be worth far less than $60 billion by time you read this). It holds 55 billion XRP in an escrow account, which allows it to sell up to a billion per month if it so chooses in order to fund new projects and acquisitions. Selling such an amount would likely have a drastic effect on the cryptocurrency’s value, and isn’t something Ripple Labs plans to do anytime soon.  In actuality, Ripple Labs is looking to leverage the technology behind XRP to allow for faster banking transactions around the world. While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are built on the idea of separating financial transactions from the financial organizations of traditional currencies, Ripple is almost the opposite in every sense. Karnataka Bank’s stock is hovering near a critical long-term support at the 200-week exponential moving average (EMA) around ₹172 as it heads into its first quarter (Q1) results on Tuesday.SEBI-registered analyst&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/Investogainerresearch">Deepak Pal</a> said that the stock has been in a downtrend since failing to hold above its 200 EMA in June and has now logged four straight weeks of decline.<stembedurl>https://stocktwits.com/Investogainerresearch/message/624455898</stembedurl>Pal said the stock traded this week at ₹178.50, hitting a high of ₹181.00 and a low of ₹171.75, before closing at ₹172.15.&nbsp;He noted that while PSU banks have shown strong upward momentum in recent sessions, private sector banks such as Karnataka Bank have continued to fall.Technical BreakdownOn the technical front, Pal identified immediate support at ₹171–₹170, which aligns with the 200 EMA and a horizontal support zone.&nbsp;If this breaks, the next major support is at ₹165. The first hurdle for the stock is around ₹180–₹183, the zone where it recently broke down, followed by ₹192–₹195, where the 50-day and 100-day EMAs meet.&nbsp;Technical indicators remain soft, with the Parabolic SAR still in bearish mode, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) below its signal line and showing a negative histogram, and the relative strength index (RSI) near 37, pointing to weak momentum that is edging toward oversold levels.The price is below the 50 and 100 EMA, currently testing the 200 EMA.Pal described the stock as being in a “make-or-break” zone. Holding ₹170 could prompt a short-term bounce, while a breakdown may push prices towards ₹165–₹160.&nbsp;His short-term bias remains bearish until ₹183 is reclaimed. India’s equity benchmarks ease as financials retreat from record highs

India’s benchmark indexes edged lower on Monday as profit-taking in financials near record highs outweighed optimism from easing geopolitical tensions and fresh foreign inflows. The Nifty 50 shed 0.19% to 25,590.45 points and the BSE Sensex fell 0.22% to 83,876.90 as of 10:14 a.m. IST. Seven of the 13 major sectors logged losses. High-weight financials, which hit a record high on Friday, lost 0.4%. The heaviest stock in the benchmark indexes HDFC Bank lost about 0.8%. Financials, metals lift Indian benchmarks to weekly gains as geopolitical, trade fears ease Meanwhile, small- and mid-cap indexes outperformed, rising 0.5% and 0.3%, respectively. Both the benchmarks are trading just about 2.5% below record high levels. They have gained about 3.5% in June, to take their overall rise to about 15% since the start of March. “Many promoters, private equity funds and early foreign investors are likely booking profits as markets approach the record high levels and valuations get stretched, spurring a pause in the rally,” said G Chokkalingam, founder and head of research at Equinomics Research.
