It also offers a directly-bookable hotel product portfolio with a selection of over 30,000 hotels in China and over 150,000 international hotels in more than 100 countries worldwide. eLong also enables its customers to carry out domestic and international air ticket reservations in cities across China. Founded in Delaware in May 1999, eLong received $15 million in venture capital funding from Tiger Technology Fund and Blueridge Capital. In October 2004, eLong successfully went public on NASDAQ. eLong has since built China’s largest hotel network of approximately 220,000 bookable domestic and international properties in 200 countries worldwide.
