The community is very active in organising fundraising activities for deserving causes.  The developers of Dogecoin haven’t made any major changes to the coin since 2015. This means that Dogecoin could get left behind and is why Shibas are leaving Dogecoin to join more advanced platforms like Ethereum. One of Dogecoin strengths is its relaxed and fun-loving community. Litecoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency created by Charlie Lee. It was created based on the Bitcoin protocol but differs in terms of the hashing algorithm used. Litecoin uses the memory intensive Scrypt proof of work mining algorithm. Scrypt allows consumer-grade hardware such as GPU to mine those coins.  Why Litecoin? Litecoin is a cryptocurrency that has evolved from Bitcoin after its own popularity in the industry, this alternative, or ‘altcoin’ has emerged to allow investors to diversify their digital currency package, according to Investopedia. Litecoin is one of the most prominent altcoins and was created by former Google employee and Director of Engineering at Coinbase, Charlie Lee. Litecoin was the first to alter Bitcoin and the most significant difference is that it takes 2.5 minutes for Litecoin to generate a block, or transaction, in comparison to Bitcoin's 10 minutes.  ‘While this matters little to traders, miners who use hardware to run Bitcoin's network cannot switch over to Litecoin. This keeps bigger mining conglomerates away from Litecoin because they cannot easily optimize their profits by swapping to another coin, contributing to a more decentralized experience. Litecoin also has bigger blocks, and more coins in circulation, making it more affordable and swift when transacting,’ Investopedia explained.  As explained above, Litecoin can transact a lot faster than Bitcoin, but there are also a number of other characteristics that investors need to know before trading. Litecoin can handle higher volumes of transactions because of the capability of transacting faster and if Bitcoin attempted to transact on the scale of its altcoin, a code update would be needed. However, Litecoin’s blocks would be larger, but with more ‘orphaned blocks'. The faster block time of litecoin reduces the risk of double spending attacks - this is theoretical in the case of both networks having the same hashing power.  Litecoin Technical Details: The transaction confirmation time taken for Litecoin is about 2.5 minutes on average (as compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes). The Litecoin network is scheduled to cap at 84 million currency units.   Litecoin has inspired many other popular alternative currencies (eg. Dogecoin) because of its Scrypt hashing algorithm in order to prevent ASIC miners from mining those coins. However it is said that by the end of this year, Scrypt ASIC will enter the mass market.

The firm added that European Union tariffs, currency swings, and tightening emissions rules are adding further strain. Goldman noted that BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen and Renault now trade at negative industrial stub valuations, which it called “premature,” and said the premium segment remains the most undervalued part of the market.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Automakers Goldman Sees As Attractive Value Opportunities</h2>Goldman highlighted several automakers that it believes offer meaningful upside. The company initiated BMW with a ‘Buy’ rating and a 112 euro price target, implying a 32% upside. Mercedes-Benz was also initiated with a ‘Buy’ rating and a 74 euro price target, representing a 30% upside. Goldman said it likes both BMW and Mercedes-Benz for their “healthy” balance sheets and “shareholder-friendly” capital allocation frameworks.The bank initiated Ferrari with a ‘Buy’ rating and a $454 price target, giving the stock a 35% upside. Goldman said Ferrari’s higher-priced Special Series volumes support stronger selling prices and growth.Goldman also said Renault offers the same “attractive value” seen across premium automakers. Ferrari shares rose&nbsp;over 1% in premarket trading on Friday, recovering some ground after a bruising day, as investors weighed the luxury automaker’s new long-term financial targets and the first look at the technology behind its debut electric car.The Italian carmaker set a 2030 revenue goal of €9 billion, up from a forecast of €7.1 billion for 2025 but below Wall Street’s expectations, along with an adjusted core profit target of at least €3.6 billion. The muted outlook took the shine off the unveiling of the technology behind Ferrari’s first fully electric model, the Elettrica, at its Maranello headquarters.&nbsp;That sent U.S.-listed shares tumbling nearly 15% on Thursday, their worst day since debuting on the NYSE 10 years ago.At the event, CEO Benedetto Vigna called the unveiling “a historic day” for Ferrari, saying the new Elettrica is meant to complement rather than replace its traditional petrol and hybrid cars. The Italian luxury carmaker’s stock continues to trade at premium valuations despite the recent selloff. 

Smart, the joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and China’s Geely, will launch a new two-seat electric vehicle in late 2026 as the successor to its ForTwo city car.The model, called the Smart #2, will be introduced in China, Europe and other overseas markets. It will be a two-door, two-seat vehicle positioned in the A-segment, the company said.The car is being designed by Mercedes-Benz and engineered on a new architecture developed by Smart’s R&amp;D team for ultra-compact models. Production will take place in China.The #2 will join the existing Smart #1, #3 and #5 in the brand’s lineup. Investing.com -- The European Union is finalizing a trade agreement with the United States that would protect certain key industries from impending tariffs, with commercial aircraft manufacturer Airbus Group SE (EPA:AIR) set to benefit from exemptions.

German automakers BMW (BMWYY), Mercedes-Benz (MBGAF), and Volkswagen (VWAGY) are in talks with the U.S. over a possible import tariff deal, Reuters <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/bmw-mercedes-vw-seek-tariff-relief-return-us-investment-handelsblatt-reports-2025-05-28/">reported</a> on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.The automakers are hoping for a deal in June, a source told Reuters while noting that it would rely on the companies pledging substantial investment in the U.S. to convince the administration.Another source told the agency that German automakers would get credits for the vehicles they export from the U.S., which would then be deducted from tariffs as part of the proposal being discussed. None of the companies, however, commented on any talks with the U.S. government.While Mercedes has already said that it will add its best-selling GLC SUV to its Alabama plant lineup starting in 2027, BMW is considering adding shifts at the Spartanburg plant, and Volkswagen's Audi is planning to produce some models in the United States, the report noted.Both BMW and Mercedes also export heavily from the U.S.While Trump previously threatened to impose 50% tariffs on goods from the EU starting June 1, he has since then rolled back on it after a call with the EU Commission chief.The European Commission, which oversees the EU's trade policy, is currently attempting to forge a deal with the U.S. to end import tariffs or prevent further hikes.The region currently faces 25% import tariffs on its steel, aluminium, and cars.
