Mumbai: In just 30 days amid the ongoing West Asia crisis and fears of LPG shortage, cyber fraudsters targeted Mahanagar Gas Ltd (MGL) piped gas consu.

Mumbai witnessed three minor fire incidents on Sunday, including two at commercial establishments and one caused by a Mahanagar Gas Ltd (MGL) pipeline burst on a Khar road, officials said. No injuries were reported. Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) swiftly controlled all blazes in Mumbai Central, Fort’s Crawford Market area and Khar West, preventing further damage and panic escalation.

The ordeal began on March 27 for Madhura Manoj Tatkare, who works in the Housing Department at Mantralaya. While attending to her official duties, she received a call from a man identifying himself as “Shashikant Verma” from Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL)
