New Delhi: NBCC (India) Ltd is targeting revenue of Rs 18,000 crore this financial year, with a focus on multiple real estate projects in south Delhi and redevelopment projects across the country, KP Mahadevaswamy, chairman and managing director, told ET.This would mark an increase from the Rs 14,000 crore revenue the state-run property developer is expected to have recorded in FY26. Mahadevaswamy said delays in approvals pushed redevelopment projects into FY27, impacting revenue generation.“A lot of redevelopment projects got delayed due to approval issues, but most of them are on track now and will reflect in the current year’s revenue,” he said. The company reported revenues of Rs 8,900 crore in FY23, Rs 10,666 crore in FY24, rising to Rs 12,000 crore in FY25.NBCC plans to monetise a 32-acre plot in Ghitorni, south Delhi, through a residential project that is expected to generate more than Rs 9,000 crore in revenue. In addition, the company is expected to garner about Rs 6,500 crore from the sale of residential and commercial space in Sarojini Nagar.“We have some FAR (floor area ratio) sale left in Amrapali (residential project in Noida), and we have also got Supertech projects where money will be generated,” he said. “We are also focusing a lot on projects in other countries and have signed a few MoUs in this regard.”NBCC will be implementing redevelopment projects in Jammu & Kashmir and Goa, following Delhi’s self-sustainable model, where construction is funded by the sale of commercial units.NBCC sold 3.2 million sq ft of commercial space at the World Trade Centre project in Nauroji Nagar and at Sarojini Nagar Downtown, generating Rs 14,800 crore, to complete the redevelopment of seven colonies in Delhi. The company also won redevelopment projects worth Rs 10,000 crore from the Goa government, which will be taken up in phases.
