Further review later showed that the incident may have exposed personal information tied to as many as 33.7 million customers, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, shipping details and some order history.However, last week, the company <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/christmas-party-stocks-still-ongoing-2025/cLeULetRED2">said</a> that the leak perpetrator, a former employee, accessed 33.7 million accounts, but only retained user data from approximately 3,000 accounts. The perpetrator also subsequently deleted the user data, the company said after an investigation that it claimed was conducted in close coordination with the government.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Government Is Not Convinced</h2>Science Minister Bae Kyung-hoon on Wednesday reportedly slammed the company’s probe findings. "While they claim that information from 3,000 accounts was deleted, the data can still be stored somewhere. If it is kept on a cloud platform, it is even harder to trace," Bae said, as reported by Yonhap. The government also rejected Coupang’s investigation findings as a "unilateral" conclusion of a still ongoing investigation.“Coupang should have disclosed fact-based investigation findings or plans for compensation. Baidu Reportedly Begins Layoffs In Bid To Cut Costs After Disappointing Quarter, AI Roles Largely Safe

Teladoc Stock Shot Up 8% Today: BofA Views It As Differentiated Asset But Remains Cautious On Near-Term Outlook

Uber Technologies (UBER) reportedly expects faster-than-expected growth for its grocery and retail delivery segment. &nbsp;Bloomberg <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-26/uber-sees-non-takeout-deliveries-becoming-12-5-billion-business?srnd=homepage-americas">reported</a> on Friday, citing a company spokesperson, that Uber expects non-restaurant deliveries to hit an annual run rate of $12.5 billion in gross bookings by the end of 2025. This marks a growth of over 25% from the $10 billion run rate the company shared earlier this year in May, the report added. &nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/UBER">UBER shares</a> traded flat at the time of writing. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment regarding UBER stock shifted from ‘neutral’ to ‘bearish’ territory over the past 24 hours.In the second quarter, Uber’s delivery segment saw a 20% increase in gross bookings to $21.7 billion, while revenue jumped 25% to $4.1 billion. In fact, in the second quarter, the delivery segment accounted for nearly half of the company’s gross bookings.However, CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said in August that Uber still has “a long runway to drive further adoption” in delivery, noting that 75% of its rideshare customers have not tried ordering grocery and retail goods from the Uber app, as reported by Bloomberg.Rebecca Payne, group product manager for grocery and retail, told Bloomberg that 6 p.m. on Sundays is the peak time for grocery orders on Uber, and the most popular items are bananas, limes, lemons, cucumbers, Hass avocados, and red Roma tomatoes. More updates about the business are expected at the annual Groceryshop conference in Las Vegas on Sunday, the report added.In the past few months, Uber has announced partnerships or collaborations with multiple names in the grocery and retail sectors, including grocer ALDI, electronics company Best Buy, beauty retailer Sephora, and even Dollar Tree.Earlier this week, the company also announced weekly offers on groceries through the Fresh Days program, which is available to customers in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., South Africa, France, Japan, Taiwan, and Spain. Its total payment volume (TPV) surged to a record high of $9.2 billion.The company attributed the rise in revenue to strong volume growth, driven by a recovery in Brazil and Mexico, a substantial increase in Argentina, and notable contributions from Turkey, South Africa, and Pakistan.
