Chainlink has established itself as critical infrastructure for both DeFi and institutional adoption, with partnerships including Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, UBS, ANZ, Fidelity International, and J.P. Morgan. Its institutional products include the Chainlink Runtime Environment for tokenized asset workflows, Confidential Compute for privacy-preserving computation, and the Automated Compliance Engine for embedding regulatory rules into smart contracts.  The LINK token is the native asset used to pay node operators for services, fund subscription accounts, and incentivize network security through staking. Node operators stake LINK as collateral, which can be slashed if they provide inaccurate data. Chainlink was co-founded in 2017 by Sergey Nazarov and Steve Ellis, who co-authored the white paper with Ari Juels, and raised $32 million in its September 2017 ICO.

Managed by the non-profit Stellar Development Foundation, the project serves as a global infrastructure that connects banks, payment systems, and individuals to expand financial access to underserved populations. Its main value proposition lies in providing a bridge between traditional money and digital networks through the use of Anchors, which are trusted entities that hold deposits and issue credits on the ledger.  The network operates using the Stellar Consensus Protocol and a Federated Byzantine Agreement, where nodes choose trusted sets of other nodes to agree on the state of the ledger. This system ensures high throughput and fast finality, where transactions are considered permanent and irreversible within seconds. Key features include a built-in distributed exchange for trading assets without intermediaries and the Soroban platform for developing smart contracts. Users can also utilize the network for tokenizing real-world assets or accessing decentralized finance services like peer-to-peer lending.  Stellar's native token, XLM, is essential for maintaining network integrity by acting as an intermediary to find efficient exchange paths and preventing spam through small transaction fees and minimum account balance requirements. Unlike many other digital assets, the network has no inflation because the community voted to disable the automatic creation of new tokens. While the project received early funding from the payments company Stripe, it is now sustained by a global community of validators and developers rather than traditional venture capital.

To maintain long-term stability, the network collects fees into a storage fund that rewards validators for keeping data on the network indefinitely.  Sui offers several advanced tools including zkLogin for easier account access and sponsored transactions that allow users to interact with apps without managing complex wallets or immediate fees. Developers can also create tailored object types that work across the entire network, which encourages innovation and deep composability. These features are designed to create a more user-friendly experience for interacting with decentralized applications and digital games.  The SUI token is central to the ecosystem, serving as the primary asset for transaction fees and on-chain utility within decentralized exchanges and lending platforms. Users participate in a proof-of-stake mechanism by locking their tokens to support validators and secure the blockchain in exchange for rewards. Additionally, token holders have a role in governance, allowing them to participate in voting on network rules and future protocol upgrades. Value moves through the system through these staking rewards and transaction fees to ensure the platform scales sustainably

Repeated Sui mainnet outages and network stalls are driving attention, with traders questioning the protocols reliability and security after transaction halts and prior exploit-related concerns. It is distinguished by a block generation time of 2.5 minutes, which allows for faster transaction confirmations and a higher total throughput than earlier protocols. Key technical features include the Scrypt hashing algorithm, which promotes wider network participation, and MimbleWimble Extension Blocks, which improve user privacy by allowing transaction details to be hidden.  The LTC token is used for settling global payments, executing microtransactions through smaller units called litoshis, and diversifying digital portfolios with a highly liquid asset. New tokens are issued to miners as rewards for verifying blocks, though these rewards undergo a halving event approximately every four years to strictly control inflation. This process ensures the ledger maintains immutability, meaning records cannot be changed once they are saved to the global network.  Created by former Google engineer Charlie Lee, the project is supported by the Litecoin Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to ecosystem adoption. Unlike many venture-backed projects, it is maintained by a decentralized community of independent developers and a global network of miners. The project has seen recent institutional adoption, with entities like Lite Strategy and Luxxfolio Holdings adding significant amounts of LTC to their corporate treasuries as of late 2025.
