RBC cited improved performance under the current management team and said Rolls-Royce is now on “steady footing” following its multi-year turnaround, according to a&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.investing.com/news/analyst-ratings/rollsroyce-stock-initiated-at-outperform-by-rbc-capital-93CH-4364172">report</a> by Investing.&nbsp;</p><p>RBC noted that the company’s widebody civil engine portfolio could account for roughly 70% of its market capitalization, despite representing only about 37% of sales, and highlighted additional upside tied to the Ultrafan program and small modular reactor (SMR) opportunities. The brokerage also pointed to Rolls-Royce’s projected 4.4% free cash flow yield for 2026, compared with a peer average of 3.2%.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Guidance Reaffirmed Amid Strong Operating Momentum</strong></h2><p>Rolls-Royce’s latest analyst upgrades come after the company reassured on its full-year 2025 outlook, even as global supply chain pressures mount.</p><p>The company kept its full-year 2025 guidance unchanged for the underlying operating profit of £3.1 billion to £3.2 billion and for free cash flow of £3 billion to £3.1 billion.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Civil Aerospace Demand Improves</strong></h2><p>Rolls-Royce said last week that large-engine orders from IndiGo, Malaysia Airlines and Avolon helped drive strong Civil Aerospace demand. Commitments also increased for the Trent XWB-97–powered Airbus A350F, with new orders from Air China Cargo and Korean Air. Large engine flying hours rose 8% year over year to 109% of 2019 levels, and the company said durability upgrades for the Trent 1000 and Trent 7000 remain on track for certification by the end of 2025.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Defence Segment Sees Strong Activity</strong></h2><p>The Defence division reported continued momentum through the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) and the UK’s agreement to export 20 Eurofighter Typhoons to Turkiye, powered by EJ200 engines. Xiaomi recently launched a customization service for its 529,900-yuan ($74,000) SU7 Ultra electric sedan, allowing buyers to personalize the trim and paint jobs for an additional 100,000 yuan.&nbsp;</p><p>The program, also available for the 329,900-yuan YU7 Max SUV, offers extras like 24-karat gold hood badges and forged wheel hubs, echoing the bespoke options long offered by brands like Porsche and Bentley, according to a Bloomberg&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-10-05/porsche-and-xiaomi-face-off-over-custom-model-buyers-in-china">report</a>.</p><p>The smartphone maker’s move pits it directly against Porsche, which is expanding its Exclusive Manufaktur program in China as sales of its Taycan EV slow. While Xiaomi’s SU7 Ultra undercuts the 918,000-yuan Taycan, it bears a strong resemblance to the German model.</p><p>More than 90% of Porsche 911 buyers opt for personalized features, often spending tens of thousands of dollars on custom paint jobs or interior upgrades. Citi analyst Harald Hendrikse estimates Porsche’s personalization arm generates €5.6 billion in sales and up to €2.5 billion in profit annually. However, he noted that Xiaomi’s offerings likely compete more with Audi, BMW, and Mercedes, adding that customization may boost global revenues by only 1%–2%.</p><p>Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said its new amethyst purple paint takes 50 hours to apply and rivals finishes from Rolls-Royce or Bentley. “I want more people to enjoy the service that comes with top-range luxury cars,” Lei said.</p><p>The company’s luxury push extends beyond cars: Lei also unveiled a new smartphone positioned as a cheaper rival to Apple’s iPhone 17.</p><p>On Stocktwits, retail sentiment for Xiaomi was ‘bullish’ amid ‘extremely high’ message volume.</p><p><a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/XIACF">Xiaomi’s U.S.-listed stock</a> has risen 60% so far in 2025.</p><p><i>For updates and corrections, email newsroom[at]stocktwits[dot]com.</i></p>
