As of March 31, 2018, we are one of the largest publicly-traded owners of senior housing properties, owning 133 properties across 37 states. Our portfolio is well diversified in terms of product type, operating model and geography. As of March 31, 2018, we have 102 independent living (â??ILâ??) properties, 30 assisted living / memory care (â??AL/MCâ??) properties and 1 continuing care retirement community (â??CCRCâ??) property. Our portfolio is categorized into two major segments: (1) Managed Properties, which are operated by property managers pursuant to property management agreements and (2) Triple Net Lease Properties, which we lease to tenants.
