Sequentially, gross advances rose 5% as compared to Rs 6,114 crore posted on 31 March 2023.Disbursements for the quarter ended 30 June 2023 stood at Rs 1,190 crore (up 14% YoY and down 29% QoQ).Total deposits jumped 42% YoY and 10% QoQ to Rs 5,705 crore reported in Q1 FY24. Retail deposits increased to Rs 4,313 crore and bulk deposits stood at Rs 1,392 crore during the quarter.CASA ratio declined to 15% in Q1 FY24 as against 17% in Q4 FY23 and 20% in Q1 FY23.Collection efficiency was at 100% as on 30 June 2023 as against 102% as on 31 March 2023 and 89% as on 30 June 2022.Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) was at 3.4% as on 30 June 2023 as compared to 3.1% as on 31 March 2023 and 10% as on 30 June 2022.Suryoday Small Finance Bank is a scheduled commercial bank. The bank has a wide presence across 15 states and UTs across India through its 577 banking outlets, with a strong presence in Maharashtra, Tamilnadu and Odisha.The bank reported a net profit of Rs 38.91 crore in Q4 FY23 as compared with net loss of Rs 48.12 crore in Q4 FY22. Total income jumped 41.65% to Rs 363.41 crore in Q4 FY23 as against Rs 256.55 crore in Q4 FY22.Shares of Suryoday Small Finance Bank declined 1.87% to Rs 167.85 on the BSE.

Meanwhile, the bank has recorded 48% jump in total deposits to Rs 4,684 crore in Q3 FY23 from Rs 3,170 crore in Q3 FY22. Term deposits of Rs 4031 crore comprises of retail at 56% and bulk at 44%. Gross advances rose by 11% to Rs 5,409 crore in Q3 FY23 from Rs 4,872 crore in Q3 FY22. Disbursements for the quarter stood at Rs 1,265 crore, up 13% YoY. Collection efficiency in Q3 FY23 was 110.4% as against 86.5% in Q3 FY22.GNPA ratio was 4.26% in Q3 FY23 as compared with 10.5% in Q3 FY22. NNPA ratio stood at 2.35% in Q3 FY23 as against 5.6% in Q3 FY22.The SFB said that it has sold a pool of stressed assets comprising NPA & technically written-off accounts amounting to Rs 492.05 crore (out of which Rs 64 crore is technically written off accounts) for a purchase consideration of Rs 135.1 crore during the month of December 2022.Suryoday Small Finance Bank (Suryoday SFB) is a scheduled commercial bank. Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd. engages in the provision of commercial banking and micro finance services. It operates through the following segments: Treasury, Retail Banking, Corporate, and Other Banking Operations. The Treasury segment includes liquidity management activities. The Retail Banking segment provides loans, deposits, and other banking products to retail customers through a branch network. The Corporate segment comprises all advances to companies and statutory bodies which are not included under retail banking. The Other Banking Operations segment consists of para banking activities such as distribution of third party product and associated costs. The company was founded by Baskar Babu Ramachandran, Ganesh Rao, and V. L. Ramakrishnan on November 10, 2008 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India.
