Hg will invest in OneStream from its Saturn Fund.An entity of Hg will acquire all outstanding shares of OneStream including the ones owned by investment funds managed by KKR which took the company public in 2024.“This transaction delivers immediate value to our shareholders and is a vote of confidence in our strategy,” CEO Tom Shea said. Shea will continue to be the CEO of the company after deal closing and the remaining leadership team will remain in its place, according to the company. &nbsp;The closing of the transaction is now subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. (NIO) traded 1% higher on Friday after a price target hike and upgrade.Freedom Capital upgraded Nio to ‘Buy’ from ‘Hold’ with a price target of $7, up from $6.50. The Chinese EV maker has shown accelerating delivery growth in recent quarters and intends to build on that momentum with the launch of two sub-brands, the firm noted. &nbsp;The analyst believes that rising shipments next year will drive the company's revenue to "new record levels."<h2 class="st-heading-2">Nio’s Rising Delivery Volume</h2>For the third quarter through the end of September, Nio delivered 87,071 vehicles, marking an increase of about 41% from the corresponding quarter of 2024. The company currently has three brands, including its premium Nio brand and two other brands, Onvo and Firefly, which offer cheaper offerings. In the third quarter (Q3), Nio delivered 36,928 vehicles from its Nio brand and 37,656 and 12,487 units from Onvo and Firefly, respectively.For the fourth quarter, the company <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/nio-stock-slips-after-q4-revenue-guidance-disappoints/cL52NcEREgI">expects</a> to deliver between 120,000 and 125,000 vehicles. Representing a growth of 65.1% to 72.0% year-over-year. However, in September, the company had said it was eyeing 150,000 deliveries in the three months through the end of December.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Barclays’ Take</h2>A less optimistic Barclays raised its price target on Nio to $4 from $3 on Friday, while keeping an ‘Underweight’ rating on the shares. The company's Q3 results showed better vehicle gross margins but higher sales and marketing expenses, the analyst told investors in a research note. The firm also noted that Nio's Q4 delivery guide is lower than expected.Nio is currently banking on strong demand for its new ES8 and Onvo L90 vehicles to drive delivery numbers in the last quarter of the year."The All-New NIO ES8 has set the fastest record for delivering over 10,000 units among BEVs priced above RMB400,000 in China, while the ONVO L90 has remained the top-selling large BEV SUV for three consecutive months, and FIREFLY has quickly secured a leading position in the small smart high-end electric car market since its first deliveries,” CEO William Li said on Tuesday. Nio Gets A Price Target Hike, Upgrade From Freedom Capital – Analyst Expects Revenue At ‘New Record Levels’

Freedom Capital upgraded Nio to ‘Buy’ from ‘Hold’ with a price target of $7, while Barclays hiked its price target on the stock to $4.

Nio Stock Slips After Q4 Revenue Guidance Disappoints

NYSE-listed shares of Chinese EV maker Nio (NIO) slumped 7% in the pre-market session on Thursday following reports of Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, GIC Private, filing a report against it over alleged irregularities in its revenue recognition practices.The latest slump in the stock price comes after the shares touched a 1.5-year high in late September. According to Stocktwits data, retail chatter around <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/NIO">Nio</a> jumped 39% over the past 24 hours. At the same time, retail sentiment around the stock remains in the ‘bearish’ territory. Nio’s Hong Kong-listed shares, meanwhile, traded 9% lower at the time of writing.The lawsuit, filed in August, centers on Nio’s relationship with its battery asset operator Mirattery, established with partners including CATL, Guotai Junan, and Hubei Science Technology Investment. GIC alleged Nio misled investors by inflating revenue through Mirattery, resulting in investment losses.The lawsuit has reportedly been stayed temporarily in a U.S. court pending the outcome of an earlier class action. The fund’s lawsuit is said to have been triggered by a June 2022 short-seller report from Grizzly Research, which accused Nio of using Mirattery to exaggerate revenues and profit margins.GIC’s allegations echo Grizzly’s claims, asserting that Nio improperly recognized full battery sales revenue upfront when selling batteries to Mirattery under its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. The fund argues that using installment-based revenue recognition would have resulted in materially lower performance figures and prevented Nio’s 2021 valuation spike. Nio, however, conducted an internal review following the report and said the allegations were unfounded.The company is rapidly ramping up EV deliveries. In the third quarter, it delivered 87,071 vehicles, representing a growth of 40.8% year-on-year. The firm, however, is yet to turn a profit. This represents an 11% discount to the stock’s closing price on Tuesday.The Class A ordinary shares, meanwhile, are being offered at an offering price of HK$43.36 per share. The higher delivery expectations are spurred by the company’s new vehicle models, including the Onvo L90 and the new Nio ES8. CEO William Li noted in a post-earnings call that with the new vehicles, the company sees a market demand that is higher than what it expected before launch.
