$VEON For the OG gang (2022-2023) here, how much is enough for you? I was originally going to sit and wait for reinstatement of dividends but these paper gains are huge.

$VEON great news about increasing the buyback to $200M is that letter one has agreed to participate on a prorata basis meaning twice the shares repurchased per dollar of upward pressure on the market price. Seems very efficient design!

$VEON It is fortuitous timing from about his OG Gang post. I received confirmation from VEON IR today that I will be able to attend the Capital Markets days in-person, so I wanted to return to posting about VEON after a more than two-year break. Upon my return, I first wanted to congratulate everyone from back in the day on the huge gains and also say that I am glad to be back. Now, two comments about the question. First, I don't see too many compelling opportunities elsewhere in the market. Unless you need money to pay for something in the real world like a home improvement, it probably makes sense just to sit tight. My second comment would be that $100 may be a round number to start trimming the position. I believe at that point, we would start reaching full value until capital controls are lifted in Ukraine, and VEON can upstream more than one-million Euros per month to Dubai. Once the financial controls in Ukraine normalize, I would revise the price target upwards.

$VEON THREE CHEERS for the OG Veon gang on here – we bought in when prices were $3 or less (ie in the teens now). I've taken a few profits along the way, but then bought back the little I sold when it was in the 40s. We're f'ing rockin it. Happy Friday.

$VEON is buying back about $200 million of its stock. Nearly half of that money goes to one seller: its biggest owner, LetterOne. LetterOne sells in step with the buyback, so it cashes out about $91 million and still keeps its 45% grip on the votes.
